Never really lost a fight(exept in the ring) Don't just doubt everyone as a liar, when you don't know anything. Hey send me my 12 bucks doubting Tom
I remember having to endure the whole of this song round a friends house one evening years ago, he was a student/right on/music snob type who thought i`d be impressed. Even stoned I thought it self induldgent. More like a bad Black Sabbath than punk. Funnily enough tho I like this clip alot!
I can imagine - a lot of Subhumans fans will happily sing you entire songs "acapella" to make sure you, y'know, *really get* the lyrics. Just like Frank Zappa fans (shudder).
Having said that, I loved this lot in my early teens, and then got all sniffy about how politically naive I thought they were. Then a few years later I realised that most of the time they weren't naive, but just quite shrwed, straightforward commentators who expressed themselves simply.
what are you trying to say johnny, that people suffering in the third world are naturally guilty beings who need the enlightened euro's/americans to brighten their lives with bombs and economic stagnation? im not saying that third worlders are perfect, no humans are... but left to run their affairs in their own interests is going to serve them much better than foreign domination, infiltration, and perversion.
Where in gods name are you getting this schtick? You went WAY beyond my point. Your prooving how ignorant you are. In the most basic sense all i said was People don't join the military to kill people, and you somehow took that as "kill the horrible third world people".
"Secondly noone is "innocent" as you claim. Dont buy the punk rock bullshit about all the "innocent third world people" the way you wouldn't buy the goverments take on the situation. They are BOTH one sided arguements."- Cpt. johhny. a pathetic justification of third world intervention. yes, your right... there is no such thing as civilian casualties in the 20th century*sarcasm, your military buddies call it collateral damage.
Sure there are civilian casualties. Things aren't as simple as the "evil Americans" going over there and shooting "poor fragil little third world people". I am stating theres good and bad on BOTH sides and we are ALL getting screwed. It's just a shame that its cooler to be a bleeding heart yuppy and reach a hand out to everyone weeker while saying fuck our own people. Be pissed off at the governments decisions all you want, but do NOT shit on or judge our soldiers.
i understand you have a personal bias to defend aggressive slaughter, but it is clouding the obvious pragmatic and moral judgement. in the western hemesphere, the country to recieve the most "benign" US intervention is Hati; also the poorest country in the hemesphere. nicaragua has recieved the second most intervention; incedentily it is the second poorest country in the hemesphere.
you seem to be buying into the farce of humanitarian intervention and war; trust me the third world doesnt need your kind of love. and WOW... "People don't join the military to kill people..."!?!?!?! you must affilitate with the most ignorant people on the face of the earth. seems like they dont even know what a military is!
And if your wondering i have lots of friends that have joined the military. Not one of them WANT to kill someone or go to Iraq. ALL of them were kids that had nothing going for them and wanted some shot at a job or carreer. Simple as that. I was defending the fact people by nature don't sighn up thinking "cool i get to shoot people".
i understand that these are your personal experiences, but it is ridiculous that you do not realize that some people join with malicious intentions. my statement was not meant to be all-encompasing, just a sad reality of the times. i realize that vulnerable well-intended ignorants, made that way through their social indoctrination system to be the perfect consumer, are preyed on; but this does not explain all cases and motivations.
I DO realize a few people join with malicious intent but it is the minority. Secondly DO NOT say the people I know that joined are ignorant. People that I know joined cause they couldn't get a job, college, health care or dental care. Maybe you have some a secure easy life, but when your broke, have nothing, and your teeth falling out of your face and the military can help you with all the above and pay for your college, some people take that rout without being horrible malicious people.
the fact remains that a military is a military... and signing up during war time is guaranteeing that your efforts will be going towards the death of others; most likely civilians being killed for narrow ends of profit, given the nature of modern US war.
one can make about the same amount working at mcdonalds than in the military and college doesnt work out for people who become shellshocked, injured, or aged 30 in the military; most of the time. the material argument to join the military doesnt stack up in reality, although i understand that some are fooled.
how can someone sacrifice their freedom, moral dignity, and self-respect voluntarily; other than by being ignorant as to the aims of the military? r they are suffering, but helping inflict an even greater suffering on people who did nothing to cause their discomfort. they negate their own greivance, and justify it, by joining the military.
how malicious it is, depriving people of social safety for profit, then exploiting that weakness to have them help deprive others of their necessities. and this is what you were defending as humanitarian war.
i dont know why you assume i know people that joined DURRING the war. you talk as if your getting your facts from some government conspiracies book written by burnt out potheads. and as far as affiliating myself with "ignorant" people , i have a friend that got out last year, did NOT kill people, had his college paid for, and will make 150 grand a year with his computer training the MILITARY gave him which he wouldnt of afforded himself, which is a LONG way from working mcdonalds as you claim.
people conspire to promote interests, this is a fact of the world. to act like the government, military, and totalitarian economic institutions are somehow disconnected betrays the reality of coordination that has existed among these elements for some time. capitalism promotes crass limitless self-interest at the expense of the anyone who gets in the way, this is no fantasy, let me assure you.
im sure there are a variety of economic outcomes from the military; this is a dynamic you fail to see. the experiences you describe may happen in some cases, although this is certainly not the norm. 1/3 of all homeless people in the US are vietnam war vets; once their generally low-paid service is done, there is no human consideration, simply how much can be exploited. there is a need to incidently train a few people in the process. but dont confuse imperialism with a concern for soldiers.
secondly do NOT say people i know are ignorant. just cause YOU have dilluted fantasies about joining to kill people doesnt mean everyone thinks the same. your probably some rich cunt that will never understand what it's like to have no schooling or insurance and have to make such a drastic move. you can run your mouth as much as you want but they were over there to SEE whats REALLY going on, NOT you from your cushy safe home reading punk rock government bashing websites.
also, you must appreciate the difference between ignorance and stupidity. ignorance is simply not knowing something, everyone is ignorant about some thing or another; in this case i was talking about ignorance of US foreign policy and the use of the military in oppressing the worlds exploited masses.
fantasies about killing people are not in my dreams, they are in the realities of malicious troops who get their smiling jollies over torturing and raping innocents at abu ghraib, murderous gangs who rape and kill innocent iraqis on a daily basis, and deranged vets who have become mentally and morally dead from the psychic reprocussions of their crimes. while i dont attribute these premeditations to all troops, these people do exist, it is not simply some ideation i came up with.
i do not feel that having been put in a disadvantaged position gives a person the right to impose suffering on another person in order to advance their own self-interest. this excuse negates itself by justifying the "first-world suffering" your friends seem to have gone through. not being able to afford the latest tv fad is much different than watching your family being blown apart by the misled underclass of the US, bred for subjugation and service to the totalitarian leeches of capitalism.
i am not the poorest of the poor, i am not going to act like 'woe is me' to justify any of the crimes i may have commited. but i am certainly not bourgeois or rich either. i find it appalling that the US underclass is being exploited in order to advance the interests of the narrow totalitarian economic institutions that exploit american and the world's poor masses. the difference between me and you is that you buy into the garbage the upper classes feed you, i hope you will reconsider.
*not may have... have! trust me, i have felt the burdens of class oppression, as well as many other kinds and i have selfishly taken that out on the world and its people around me. this was a perversion of my true nature, i was victimized by the malicious capitalist system. despite this, i regret my personal actions that took place in these times and hold myself accountable. this is the only way i can make sure they will never happen again. i hope my personal insight can relate to you. :D
it is a rough and ongoing process to hold myself accountable, but only through giving back to others can i even hope to redeem myself; in my own mind and according to my own standards. i must try to stand up for the truth and continually defend myself against the predatory influences that lurk in such a shallow and vicious culture. i will not let myself be victimized again, even if it means dying as a broke social outcast.
I am also pointing out that...If you take 500 people that have committed the same random action...any random pointless action..than you have 500 people that have done something similar for 500 different reasons. My personal belief is niether you or I can judge someone elses actions based on our own thoughts cause NOONE ever will know what drives another person. A bad action is different than bad intent.
there are similar motives among people in similar situations. for example, when a US soldier is killed the reoccuring theme is for them to rape and kill innocents, including women and children. the intent is the same: collective punishment on people who had nothing to do with the death of their fellow, besides the fact that they lived nearby. these people push the blame for their on the innocent civilians around them. this happens even without a direct provocation.
they are directed and trained to devalue life, similar results occur, it is the process of psychological manipulation. the process of military training and regementation directs this sort of behaviour and mentality; similar results occur with similarly manipulated minds and thereby intent.
when many volunteered after 911 to fight the war on "terror" , the white house, media, and the military commanders told their inferiors that the iraqis were responsible for the attacks. they consciously directed and increased the anger of their troops, the result is torture, rapes and killings. the intent was similar: "they attacked us, now were going to get them back", them being any arab; time for them to play the 'big man' and rape defenseless prisoners in the name of freedom.
mindsets are consciously manipulated to produce these results, especially affective in an environment like the military where people have to accept orders without question and give in to mass conformity; resulting in mass-intent. the same shit has been going on "fear and kill commies" "fear and kill terrorists" same intent same result; makes these abuses depressingly predictable.
i realize that some join with good intentions and some of those get manipulated by their environment to join in on the inhumanity, but this is no reason to say that moral character of brutal mass killings, rapes and torture is not determinable; this applies to supporting this familiar outcome by taking any role in the military. if the mass media didnt make them vengeful towards the people they were suppossed to be "liberating", then the military surely has a good probability.
the intent of the war aggression is focused towards the self-indulgence of the capitalist totalitarian elite, while they manipulate the self-indulgence ingrained in the capitalist societies, getting people to uphold their oppressors through bloody conquest. someone who is a victim of this system fights to uphold it, rather than change it. this song is an example of one form of response; directed at bringing this realization to as many people as possible through the popular medium of music.
the US imperialist army will never represent the interest of rwandans, iraqis, serbians, albanians, etc. they only represent the interests of their weapons contractors, energy concerns, and business interests. find out what the term "corporate capitalism" means before you start to buy into the spoonfed illusion you have been raised on. imperial intersts only represent the soldiers, the US commoner, and the world masses in delusion only.
to act like the military is well intended is giving the word NAIVE a bad name. so called humanitarian war in serbia targeted hospitals civilian infrastructure etc. , there were malicious interests at heart, there always are. while i understand that some are misled, it is just stupid to accept the cause of aggressive war because of that. my political views dont fit in to what you deem "punk" and im glad. dont act like working class with bourgeois ideals. ;)
its dumb fucks like you, where were you for serbia, rwanda.herd of terrorists latey?listen a little closer to your music, your trulyan apathetic jackoff.i suppose your siding with zarqawi?cptn.johnny makes good point.2 sides dickwad.
yes i agree.this peice of shit thinks his records are the real world.he should listen to them and experience life.a half ass punk is about right, fuckin wannabe better yet.people join the military with good intentions.
they think they are living out some half-asked bullshit portrayal of reality they see in saving private ryan or top gun, thinking they have to be patriotic tough guys and that they will be heros. when they see what it is really like to take a life, many are mentally ruined and cant cope with this perversion of human nature, others just grow cold. hard to have sympathy for people who voluntarily kill defenseless innocents with modern weapons and without a justifiable cause.
And i think your living a half-assed punk rock fantasy you hear on your albumns. People don't join the military to kill people you dousche. Half the people that join are 18 yr old kids that dont know what they are getting into. NONE deserves to be sent to another country to be shot up for some shitty cause, reguardless of if they "sighned up".
ever seen top gun, "be heroic while you bomb civilian infrasturcture resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of children!" i agree, but you fail to realize that there are people that think they know what they are getting into, say people who want to take revenge on "terrorists" who attacked the US. they end up gang raping and killing innocents resulting from their command induced mindfuck, they become shells of humans in the progress.
I don't support any of this countries assinine decisions, but to call an ignorant 18 yr old that joined the military thinking to straighten thier lives out and ended up getting blown up a "heartless bastard" is fucked up. Secondly noone is "innocent" as you claim. Dont buy the punk rock bullshit about all the "innocent third world people" the way you wouldn't buy the goverments take on the situation. They are BOTH one sided arguements.
i understand that some of those people are tricked by recruiters etc., but there are people that join for the glory of slaughter and take pleasure in their killing as well. alot of them turn out mentally deranged after experiencing the things that were glorified on their tv, music, and movies. culture is used as a psychological tool to help create people willing to participate in mass-murder;
i realize that some are unwittingly tricked into joining, but there comes a point when one's human nature should step in and say, killing innocents is not right. when it comes down to it, they are directly participating mass-murder. i realize that the conditioning, threats, and punishment that one could face makes this less than likely to happen; it is an unfortunate situation. your point would be much more pervasive if there were a draft.
i bet the people coming back from iraq with missing limbs and mental problems wished they listened to this song before they volunteered their lives to be class trading pawns for the US elite. they probably would still sign up, heartless bastards.
epic song about how passivly accepting the socialization of mainstream culture will make you betray your own human spirity and turn you into a warped and perverted crushed shell of a human being.
what a great post, well done mate. fuckin class. dick aint changed much, hair still shit.

Then a few years later I realised that most of the time they weren't naive, but just quite shrwed, straightforward commentators who expressed themselves simply.

what are you trying to say johnny, that people suffering in the third world are naturally guilty beings who need the enlightened euro's/americans to brighten their lives with bombs and economic stagnation? im not saying that third worlders are perfect, no humans are... but left to run their affairs in their own interests is going to serve them much better than foreign domination, infiltration, and perversion.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
Where in gods name are you getting this schtick? You went WAY beyond my point. Your prooving how ignorant you are. In the most basic sense all i said was People don't join the military to kill people, and you somehow took that as "kill the horrible third world people".
XCaptainJohnnyX 4 years ago
"Secondly noone is "innocent" as you claim. Dont buy the punk rock bullshit about all the "innocent third world people" the way you wouldn't buy the goverments take on the situation. They are BOTH one sided arguements."- Cpt. johhny. a pathetic justification of third world intervention. yes, your right... there is no such thing as civilian casualties in the 20th century*sarcasm, your military buddies call it collateral damage.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
Sure there are civilian casualties. Things aren't as simple as the "evil Americans" going over there and shooting "poor fragil little third world people". I am stating theres good and bad on BOTH sides and we are ALL getting screwed. It's just a shame that its cooler to be a bleeding heart yuppy and reach a hand out to everyone weeker while saying fuck our own people. Be pissed off at the governments decisions all you want, but do NOT shit on or judge our soldiers.
XCaptainJohnnyX 4 years ago
i understand you have a personal bias to defend aggressive slaughter, but it is clouding the obvious pragmatic and moral judgement. in the western hemesphere, the country to recieve the most "benign" US intervention is Hati; also the poorest country in the hemesphere. nicaragua has recieved the second most intervention; incedentily it is the second poorest country in the hemesphere.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
you seem to be buying into the farce of humanitarian intervention and war; trust me the third world doesnt need your kind of love. and WOW... "People don't join the military to kill people..."!?!?!?! you must affilitate with the most ignorant people on the face of the earth. seems like they dont even know what a military is!
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
And if your wondering i have lots of friends that have joined the military. Not one of them WANT to kill someone or go to Iraq. ALL of them were kids that had nothing going for them and wanted some shot at a job or carreer. Simple as that. I was defending the fact people by nature don't sighn up thinking "cool i get to shoot people".
XCaptainJohnnyX 4 years ago
i understand that these are your personal experiences, but it is ridiculous that you do not realize that some people join with malicious intentions. my statement was not meant to be all-encompasing, just a sad reality of the times. i realize that vulnerable well-intended ignorants, made that way through their social indoctrination system to be the perfect consumer, are preyed on; but this does not explain all cases and motivations.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
I DO realize a few people join with malicious intent but it is the minority. Secondly DO NOT say the people I know that joined are ignorant. People that I know joined cause they couldn't get a job, college, health care or dental care. Maybe you have some a secure easy life, but when your broke, have nothing, and your teeth falling out of your face and the military can help you with all the above and pay for your college, some people take that rout without being horrible malicious people.
XCaptainJohnnyX 4 years ago
the fact remains that a military is a military... and signing up during war time is guaranteeing that your efforts will be going towards the death of others; most likely civilians being killed for narrow ends of profit, given the nature of modern US war.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
one can make about the same amount working at mcdonalds than in the military and college doesnt work out for people who become shellshocked, injured, or aged 30 in the military; most of the time. the material argument to join the military doesnt stack up in reality, although i understand that some are fooled.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
how can someone sacrifice their freedom, moral dignity, and self-respect voluntarily; other than by being ignorant as to the aims of the military? r they are suffering, but helping inflict an even greater suffering on people who did nothing to cause their discomfort. they negate their own greivance, and justify it, by joining the military.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
how malicious it is, depriving people of social safety for profit, then exploiting that weakness to have them help deprive others of their necessities. and this is what you were defending as humanitarian war.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
i dont know why you assume i know people that joined DURRING the war. you talk as if your getting your facts from some government conspiracies book written by burnt out potheads. and as far as affiliating myself with "ignorant" people , i have a friend that got out last year, did NOT kill people, had his college paid for, and will make 150 grand a year with his computer training the MILITARY gave him which he wouldnt of afforded himself, which is a LONG way from working mcdonalds as you claim.
XCaptainJohnnyX 4 years ago
people conspire to promote interests, this is a fact of the world. to act like the government, military, and totalitarian economic institutions are somehow disconnected betrays the reality of coordination that has existed among these elements for some time. capitalism promotes crass limitless self-interest at the expense of the anyone who gets in the way, this is no fantasy, let me assure you.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
im sure there are a variety of economic outcomes from the military; this is a dynamic you fail to see. the experiences you describe may happen in some cases, although this is certainly not the norm. 1/3 of all homeless people in the US are vietnam war vets; once their generally low-paid service is done, there is no human consideration, simply how much can be exploited. there is a need to incidently train a few people in the process. but dont confuse imperialism with a concern for soldiers.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
secondly do NOT say people i know are ignorant. just cause YOU have dilluted fantasies about joining to kill people doesnt mean everyone thinks the same. your probably some rich cunt that will never understand what it's like to have no schooling or insurance and have to make such a drastic move. you can run your mouth as much as you want but they were over there to SEE whats REALLY going on, NOT you from your cushy safe home reading punk rock government bashing websites.
XCaptainJohnnyX 4 years ago
also, you must appreciate the difference between ignorance and stupidity. ignorance is simply not knowing something, everyone is ignorant about some thing or another; in this case i was talking about ignorance of US foreign policy and the use of the military in oppressing the worlds exploited masses.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
fantasies about killing people are not in my dreams, they are in the realities of malicious troops who get their smiling jollies over torturing and raping innocents at abu ghraib, murderous gangs who rape and kill innocent iraqis on a daily basis, and deranged vets who have become mentally and morally dead from the psychic reprocussions of their crimes. while i dont attribute these premeditations to all troops, these people do exist, it is not simply some ideation i came up with.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
i do not feel that having been put in a disadvantaged position gives a person the right to impose suffering on another person in order to advance their own self-interest. this excuse negates itself by justifying the "first-world suffering" your friends seem to have gone through. not being able to afford the latest tv fad is much different than watching your family being blown apart by the misled underclass of the US, bred for subjugation and service to the totalitarian leeches of capitalism.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
i am not the poorest of the poor, i am not going to act like 'woe is me' to justify any of the crimes i may have commited. but i am certainly not bourgeois or rich either. i find it appalling that the US underclass is being exploited in order to advance the interests of the narrow totalitarian economic institutions that exploit american and the world's poor masses. the difference between me and you is that you buy into the garbage the upper classes feed you, i hope you will reconsider.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
*not may have... have! trust me, i have felt the burdens of class oppression, as well as many other kinds and i have selfishly taken that out on the world and its people around me. this was a perversion of my true nature, i was victimized by the malicious capitalist system. despite this, i regret my personal actions that took place in these times and hold myself accountable. this is the only way i can make sure they will never happen again. i hope my personal insight can relate to you. :D
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
it is a rough and ongoing process to hold myself accountable, but only through giving back to others can i even hope to redeem myself; in my own mind and according to my own standards. i must try to stand up for the truth and continually defend myself against the predatory influences that lurk in such a shallow and vicious culture. i will not let myself be victimized again, even if it means dying as a broke social outcast.

If I didn't know you better mate, I'd say you were on one lol .
sham64andahalf 4 years ago
I am also pointing out that...If you take 500 people that have committed the same random action...any random pointless action..than you have 500 people that have done something similar for 500 different reasons. My personal belief is niether you or I can judge someone elses actions based on our own thoughts cause NOONE ever will know what drives another person. A bad action is different than bad intent.
XCaptainJohnnyX 4 years ago
there are similar motives among people in similar situations. for example, when a US soldier is killed the reoccuring theme is for them to rape and kill innocents, including women and children. the intent is the same: collective punishment on people who had nothing to do with the death of their fellow, besides the fact that they lived nearby. these people push the blame for their on the innocent civilians around them. this happens even without a direct provocation.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
they are directed and trained to devalue life, similar results occur, it is the process of psychological manipulation. the process of military training and regementation directs this sort of behaviour and mentality; similar results occur with similarly manipulated minds and thereby intent.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
when many volunteered after 911 to fight the war on "terror" , the white house, media, and the military commanders told their inferiors that the iraqis were responsible for the attacks. they consciously directed and increased the anger of their troops, the result is torture, rapes and killings. the intent was similar: "they attacked us, now were going to get them back", them being any arab; time for them to play the 'big man' and rape defenseless prisoners in the name of freedom.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
mindsets are consciously manipulated to produce these results, especially affective in an environment like the military where people have to accept orders without question and give in to mass conformity; resulting in mass-intent. the same shit has been going on "fear and kill commies" "fear and kill terrorists" same intent same result; makes these abuses depressingly predictable.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
i realize that some join with good intentions and some of those get manipulated by their environment to join in on the inhumanity, but this is no reason to say that moral character of brutal mass killings, rapes and torture is not determinable; this applies to supporting this familiar outcome by taking any role in the military. if the mass media didnt make them vengeful towards the people they were suppossed to be "liberating", then the military surely has a good probability.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
the intent of the war aggression is focused towards the self-indulgence of the capitalist totalitarian elite, while they manipulate the self-indulgence ingrained in the capitalist societies, getting people to uphold their oppressors through bloody conquest. someone who is a victim of this system fights to uphold it, rather than change it. this song is an example of one form of response; directed at bringing this realization to as many people as possible through the popular medium of music.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
the US imperialist army will never represent the interest of rwandans, iraqis, serbians, albanians, etc. they only represent the interests of their weapons contractors, energy concerns, and business interests. find out what the term "corporate capitalism" means before you start to buy into the spoonfed illusion you have been raised on. imperial intersts only represent the soldiers, the US commoner, and the world masses in delusion only.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
to act like the military is well intended is giving the word NAIVE a bad name. so called humanitarian war in serbia targeted hospitals civilian infrastructure etc. , there were malicious interests at heart, there always are. while i understand that some are misled, it is just stupid to accept the cause of aggressive war because of that. my political views dont fit in to what you deem "punk" and im glad. dont act like working class with bourgeois ideals. ;)
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
its dumb fucks like you, where were you for serbia, rwanda.herd of terrorists latey?listen a little closer to your music, your trulyan apathetic jackoff.i suppose your siding with zarqawi?cptn.johnny makes good point.2 sides dickwad.

they think they are living out some half-asked bullshit portrayal of reality they see in saving private ryan or top gun, thinking they have to be patriotic tough guys and that they will be heros. when they see what it is really like to take a life, many are mentally ruined and cant cope with this perversion of human nature, others just grow cold. hard to have sympathy for people who voluntarily kill defenseless innocents with modern weapons and without a justifiable cause.
jklasdfjdfksl 5 years ago
And i think your living a half-assed punk rock fantasy you hear on your albumns. People don't join the military to kill people you dousche. Half the people that join are 18 yr old kids that dont know what they are getting into. NONE deserves to be sent to another country to be shot up for some shitty cause, reguardless of if they "sighned up".
XCaptainJohnnyX 4 years ago
ever seen top gun, "be heroic while you bomb civilian infrasturcture resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of children!" i agree, but you fail to realize that there are people that think they know what they are getting into, say people who want to take revenge on "terrorists" who attacked the US. they end up gang raping and killing innocents resulting from their command induced mindfuck, they become shells of humans in the progress.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
I don't support any of this countries assinine decisions, but to call an ignorant 18 yr old that joined the military thinking to straighten thier lives out and ended up getting blown up a "heartless bastard" is fucked up. Secondly noone is "innocent" as you claim. Dont buy the punk rock bullshit about all the "innocent third world people" the way you wouldn't buy the goverments take on the situation. They are BOTH one sided arguements.
XCaptainJohnnyX 4 years ago
i understand that some of those people are tricked by recruiters etc., but there are people that join for the glory of slaughter and take pleasure in their killing as well. alot of them turn out mentally deranged after experiencing the things that were glorified on their tv, music, and movies. culture is used as a psychological tool to help create people willing to participate in mass-murder;
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
i realize that some are unwittingly tricked into joining, but there comes a point when one's human nature should step in and say, killing innocents is not right. when it comes down to it, they are directly participating mass-murder. i realize that the conditioning, threats, and punishment that one could face makes this less than likely to happen; it is an unfortunate situation. your point would be much more pervasive if there were a draft.
jklasdfjdfksl 4 years ago
i bet the people coming back from iraq with missing limbs and mental problems wished they listened to this song before they volunteered their lives to be class trading pawns for the US elite. they probably would still sign up, heartless bastards.
