Can you intrduce female rats to each other at diffrent ages?Iv got two dumbo females,The cage is made of a gunipigcage (we put thick,1cm-1cm Squared wire all over to prevent them escaping) with one small and one large hamstercage on top.The Square footage suggests anything up to 8-10 rats,but we are planning on adding another 2-4 meaning 4-6 in the cage.

Try this, it worked for me with my rats: Every time your rat nips you SQUEAK really loud and the rat will then know he is hurting you and soon learn to stop. Also, make sure you wash any scent of food off your hands before handling them.

My two are not mean if anything they are too nice lol they get attached to the owner and it can be hard to leave them if you stay away for a night they are sweet though i got my first one a little less then a year and she was mean to the next one i got but now they both get alone well but if they do happen to get mad you will know right away they have two may ways of defense which are to bit which doesn't hurt that bad and they can pee on you lol but if u handle them enough they are very nice

♥ Wild rats are dirty & carry a lot of germs,they still look cute though just like house rats! They have their own personalities just like a cat or dog! Not every animal will appeal to everyone but I think people who say they are disgusting are just being ignorant.
