its a cleric... look at the time 0:50 you can see there that she is healing herself. She can use a staff because it deals more damage then a mace and shield, the only reason clerics use maces and shields is so they can hold more hp manastones for survivability, not to do damage like with a staff
are u sure? cuz to me, he look more like a chanter cuz his heal arent as good as those of a cleric. maybe im wrong but just throwing my opinion out there :P
So are chanters going to be limited to mainly healing in raids, or are the good dps? Because the main reason why I want to choose them is because I love to melee dps in games and I liked the option of healing (Feral druid in WoW :P)

it depends, if ur healers are in needs of assistant, then u heal. if they're ok. then u can add dps to help the group. they're a hybrid class

Tho chanters arent that much of a direct healers, they should be party buffers. But oh well, you can do what you like.
