baden-würtemberg isn`t the best exampel for bigger german agriculture. many farmers main crop is vine in this region. but if you take a look at east germany you can find big farms with an US scale. we do about 250ha, but the former LPG´s farm about 1500-2000ha here in southern thuringia. mmfarming: ich poste nur auf englisch, damit es alle verstehen, macht euer ding! grüße

Yes youre right but I need to correct my last post, here we have about 250-300ha of wheat and barley, not only 30. And in autumn we have corn harvest, then We'll post our next video.

in europe farms are much smaller than here in the USA so they have lots of contractors to do the harvesting

Well here in our little town, we have maybe about 25-30 ha of barley and wheat, so it is much smaller than what you may be used to(I guess you are from the US?).

some farmers have their own combines here, but we also have custom harvest.

I think if you want to come to Germany for example, you should look for regions where you can find more than what we run here in the south...
