You know what? To be perfectly honest, I wish the Abridged series covered the filler episodes. The whole thing with the two hobo killers, the teacher and the one old guy who keeps telling everyone to negotiate strikes me as very, very open to parody.

That is just how much of the manga the anime catch up to, aftewards in the manga happens all bunch of crazy stuff with street fighters, vampires and WTF? psychic powers guys, but in the anime they start a whole entire huge arc of filler and an ending of its own thereby overtooking the manga. Also, as of now the manga is still on the run in japan.

Sometimes when people die, they tense up so much that even when their dead they have a hella grip on whatever they were holding. be it an expensive item, a gun, a sword, your shirt or wrist. though i'm not sure if it would work the same way with a disembodied arm but probabbly does.

Seeing as the manga is nearing its end soon, Gantz needs to be rebooted with a new series like they did wth Hellsing Ultimate, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and the new Evangelion films.
@Simone4447 In the end credits it said Hbi2k is one person and he has a team for the editing and such and along with other people to do some other voices. He pretty much does the voice over for like all the main characters I believe. He's a badass and I'd hire him for my anime series.

its true that it got more and more epic, but gantz is oen of the very realistical drawn mangas and i think same panels show more action and details than you can absorb by reading fluently.
It sometimes it can take the reader several seconds to fully understand what is drawn there esecialy on the Osaka Mission.
DantheRebirth I got your point exactly but that is your problem; no I am sorry I shouldn't say your problem, but the problem. Mangas like gantz, berserk, claymore and many others are not manga you just pick up and read fluently. There more serious then most manga and wants the readers to understand the story and the text of it. Before getting into the depths of these type of manga you first have to understand the central theme of them, and after a certain point the reader should understand
the central theme and then the manga starts to dig deeper and deeper into it. That is what gantz did it would have been pointless for gantz to keep doing what it did at the beginning of the series because their would be little to no growth to the series when all but so and so is going to survive which fight; then people would just stopped reading it.
Look at Osaka mission (I'm not sure I havent reread the older chapters in a while but it is the mission in this vid I think.) If everyone but kurono, kato, and kei (KKK XD) died it would have done nothing to help the growth of kurono later down the line in the series.
Also everyone who is complaining how the ending of the anime is a downer just read the manga the manga is still going and is getting so amazing that it's not even funny.
Ugh. I watched Berserk and was absolutely kicked in the nuts by the downer ending it left on.
Then I watched Gantz. Kurono was kicking tail and it looked like it'd have a good ending too until...bam...this. Wow.
Berserk at least had the Abridged series to take away some of the crapitude from the ending. But this time, even the Abridged series ends on a downer ending. LOL. The world is a messed up place sometimes...
Wow, that ending was extremely depressing. (why did all the hot anime chicks have to die). In most circumstances, Kishimoto would be the other one who survives to provide support to the main character as the warm relief character. Well, at least the rest of the show is FILLER!!!... DAMMIT!!!

The manga was extremely emotional and this captured elements of that.
The "I'm completely alone. Everyone else is dead." mood is here that was painfully absent from the actual anime both dubbed and subbed.

It sometimes it can take the reader several seconds to fully understand what is drawn there esecialy on the Osaka Mission.

DantheRebirth I got your point exactly but that is your problem; no I am sorry I shouldn't say your problem, but the problem. Mangas like gantz, berserk, claymore and many others are not manga you just pick up and read fluently. There more serious then most manga and wants the readers to understand the story and the text of it. Before getting into the depths of these type of manga you first have to understand the central theme of them, and after a certain point the reader should understand

the central theme and then the manga starts to dig deeper and deeper into it. That is what gantz did it would have been pointless for gantz to keep doing what it did at the beginning of the series because their would be little to no growth to the series when all but so and so is going to survive which fight; then people would just stopped reading it.

Look at Osaka mission (I'm not sure I havent reread the older chapters in a while but it is the mission in this vid I think.) If everyone but kurono, kato, and kei (KKK XD) died it would have done nothing to help the growth of kurono later down the line in the series.

Ugh. I watched Berserk and was absolutely kicked in the nuts by the downer ending it left on.
Then I watched Gantz. Kurono was kicking tail and it looked like it'd have a good ending too until...bam...this. Wow.
Berserk at least had the Abridged series to take away some of the crapitude from the ending. But this time, even the Abridged series ends on a downer ending. LOL. The world is a messed up place sometimes...

Wow, that ending was extremely depressing. (why did all the hot anime chicks have to die). In most circumstances, Kishimoto would be the other one who survives to provide support to the main character as the warm relief character. Well, at least the rest of the show is FILLER!!!... DAMMIT!!!
