I am also familiar with andreas from seveth wonder, and as good as he is.... once again there are very few in metal better than him. Along with magnus.

So you are trying to say, that being in lets say the top 50 people on earth at what you do goes against 'there are not many bassists on earth better than him'. There are probably a million bassists on earth, as an estimate. And in diversity, feel and the ability to play well in many different styles i would say magnus would comfortably be in the top 50. I can agree with you that not MANY bassplayers are better than him...still I would estimate that aprox 50.000 bassplayers worldwide has better diversity, feel, ability...wich I translate to diversity, time and technic of which Magnus is mediocre at best. With just Metal in focus I'm willing to bet that if you ask a 1000 recording metal-acts worldwide to rank their favourite bassplayer Magnus wouldn't even get mentioned..
