  • To me it was alot more interesting when I thought he had died.

  • His name is Christopher Brewer and he did live. He flared like a plane at the end so he only broke his pelvis and other bones

  • There are no 900 ft cliffs in the Netherlands. Don't know what dumbass wrote that. Hope this dude is ok though.

  • Ladies and gentlemen, can I please have your attention. I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story. I need all of you, to stop what you're doing and listen........CANNONBALL!

  • @xmtsystems Excellent use of a Ron Burgandy line.

  • @xmtsystems Douchebag...

  • @ProTuner06 You mad bro?

  • Ouch man

  • the base jumper is an IDIOT why didnt he toss the small parachute earlyer what an idiot

  • so do this count as the first wingsuit landing without a parachute?

  • You guys are retarded he died from that -:O

  • @kenziespierrot your the one thats retarded, 0:03: "its comfirmed that he did SURVIVE"

  • @kenziespierrot shut up dumbass i just talked to him a few days ago, he is in a military rehab facility

  • Bellyflop World Chamion!!!!!

  • fist to do the wingsuit landing imo ,,hope he is ok

  • SLASH, owwwwwwwww

  • nature man

  • That's what she said!!

  • Little kid at 0:41 speaks for all of us in thinking "he's taking way too long to deploy..."

  • malfunction? looks like a late pull ...

  • why even have a wing suit when by the time it starts becoming useful its time to deploy. Not smart..

  • "Did he mean to do that? " Hahahaha nobody is even bothered.

  • Dipshit goes splash.

  • Lemme see the gopro footage

  • No inventen y dicen q vivió!!!

Claro ejemplo de q hay un Dios!!! =D

  • @aless0410 hmm yo creo en Dios pero aca no creo que tenga nada que ver, por ejemplo hace poco una niña murio carbonizada en su casa, dirias que Dios tuvo que ver?

  • You know whats hard to swim in?... (SLAP) A wingsuit.

  • like if u saw this on tosh.o

  • bet he got one big raspberry....

  • I think I'll just stick to skydiving.

  • gold medal

  • Christopher Brewer, 27, plunged 876ft after his parachute failed to open properly in Fayetteville, West Virginia

Mr Brewer, from Pensacola, Florida, suffered a pelvic fracture, lung injuries and a spine injury, Jeff West, chief ranger for New River Gorge National River, told the Register-Herald.

  • Obviously you haven't read the news. He's 27 and is an experienced BASE jumper. Glad you know everything though SinCity.

  • Tosh.0 worthy. Congrats!

  • He suffered a spinal cord separation and is a 19 year old that will be paralyzed for life. He tried to be talked out of it by many more experienced jumpers but chose his own path........

  • @SinCityAssassin hes 25 not 19, if you knew base jumpers you would know that once their mind is made up they will do whatever they want.

  • @flyboy8501 Brian Germain calls it "psychological momentum". Same reason an A-license jumper will try to fly camera, downsize to a pillow case, or jump when the winds are howling.

  • @specialkaye87 yea he had just got back from the netherlands and parts of europe and did over 100 proximity flights, people told him it wasnt a good idea. good thing is hes still alive and jokes about it just like his usual self. im sure he learned from this and we are trying to talk him into letting us watch his footage from his gopro

  • @flyboy8501 dude, i wouldn't want to watch the footage from his GoPro! You can tell he knew what he was doing cause he nailed the exit spot on, perfect body position, but in the Netherlands, you're exiting a 900ft cliff with a short draw at the bottom of it followed by another 900 foot drop, followed by another draw, and so on and so on. So you can fly for quite awhile.

  • looks like he pitched too late

  • this has got to be some sort of world record??

  • @mrBraaaaad record for what? having the balls to not pull your chute and hit the water over 100mph?

  • I read about this the other day. What was written was that he survived because of his wing suit. I could be wrong but that is what it said.

  • if you look close i think he trys to flap his arms hahaha hope he is ok but still haha

  • He had a wing suit but there was no wind to push him forward and he pulled late.. Came here because of Tosh.0 .. I hope a speedy recovery him..

  • what was the malfunction?

  • i guess you have better odds in vegas

  • only in america

  • Thanks God there he fell in the water , and not solid ground

  • @MoreannaLeto At those speeds it doesn't matter. Consider how many people have killed themselves by jumping off the Golden Gate bridge.

  • @A1R5N1P3R what is typical to you??? This is a birdman wingsuit.

  • @picaoga no he isn't dumbass

  • yup!.. he dead!

  • Doesn't look like a typical wingsuit, was it home made or a prototype?

  • Malfunction?? it seems like he pulled way too late

  • I heard this jumper passed away. Is this a correct statement? Does anyone know for sure?

  • @MrHolliday01 He survived. I just cant stop watching this. I had my heapdhones in and its eerie hearing the kid say "Hes not using his parachute" amongst a silent crowd right before he hits. Lucky man.

  • my grandpa and his friend saw this. CRAZY!!!!

  • Tumbs up if you wanna see the GOPRO video in his helmet too.

  • @darlan111 my tumb or yours?

  • he is paralyzed from the waist down but in stable condition.

  • I heard shortly after this happened that he lived and was in stable condition at that time.

  • ぎゃー

  • What a fucking retard... Natural selection at work.

  • I don't think it was a good choice to pull low or to use a wing suit at this height. Just saying.

  • Epic fail

  • get some!

  • can't belive he survived

  • @blackwarrior1290 this sink skydiving he hit around 60 to 70 miles an hour, he is a friend of mine and is still in the hospital but is doing better.

  • @flyboy8501 keep us posted man.

  • @flyboy8501 Around 70-80 is what the paper said here and it was over an 800ft fall. CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @flyboy8501 my bad. 900ft

  • Please keep us informed. I have been searching the web, trying to find any posting on his condition. What are his injuries?

  • @flyboy8501 what where his injurys

  • @Leowhitters broke his sternum, three ribs, pelvis, and back

  • He starts his opening maneuvre just 2 seconds before he hits the water with a falling speed of 120km/h, that means he's approximately 66m above the river. It's definitely a stupid mistake rather than a chute malfunction...

  • 8 for strange noise :O

  • chuck norris :)

  • lol, guy on PA handled that well.

  • Bit stupid to jump from that low bridge in a wing suit -.-

  • Well pilot error or chute malfunction...I'm glad he'll recover...but I bet the words coming out of his mouth was NOT....CANNON BALLLLLL!!!!

  • Speedy recovery I hope..

  • you thinkin what i'm thinkin', partner?

    Aim for the bushes...

  • "Lets see....umm yeah....."

    WTF?? O_o

  • @clubdude99 he is still very much alive I am a friend of his and he is doing great given the circumstance

  • No common sense

  • He landed without a parachute!!!

  • I watched him dropping but could not watch when it became apparent that his chute was not opening at a high enough level. Hope he recovers. It was a beautiful day at the bridge and many jumpers had the time of their life. there is no room for error in this sport.

  • miamiherald nps-investigates-bridge-day-parachute

    he lived

  • Why didn't he just go naked? Would have had the same result.

  • Why would one wait so late to throw his pilot chute??!! My goodness, I hope he survives to have some kind of quality of life!!

  • - he is dont even... dont even doing a parachute!

  • this guy did not land a wing suit he ment to deploy but didmt have enuff altitute to inflat his canopy. jeb also mentioned he wantd to land and get up and do it agin .

  • I know this place ;) tried white water rafting... the water is not that deep. Guy is very lucky to survive

  • Comment removed

  • That announcer is a credit to his profession..."Let's see...ummm...yeah."

  • He broke his pelvis bones and fucked up his lungs and he's in the hospital, thumbs up if this is true

  • I believe I can fly.....

  • Hey jeb Corliss...someone landed a Wingsuit.

  • Human error 100%. NOT cool

  • "Lets see....umm yeah....."

  • That wasn't a malfunction, the jumper don't calculate the aperture and hit the water before the pilot chute open the canopy, just a human mistake.

  • wowwwwwwww........

  • omg

  • I live five minutes from there. He lived!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @hoggard8 Lucky guy! :)

  • Que azar hein......

  • nao sei qual cena do video q alguem menor de 18 anos nao possa assistir...

  • lets see ehmm "yea" --- ohmygod

  • pulou de paraquedas, o paraquedas não abriu. mandou o fabricante para a puta que pariu

  • Let'sssss seeeeee eeemmmmm yyyeeeaaappp..

  • LET'S SEE.... UHHHMMMMM.... YAP!!!

  • @KingFr4nky No doubt...I sent it to a lab to be processed and they confirmed it.

  • crowd: ooooooooohh!

commentator: lets see .... ehhmmmmm.. ja.

  • 0:40 The Kid: He's not even doing a parachute. Mom: No

  • YOUR FACE GOD DAMNIT!

  • From my point of view (I am NOT a basejumper, but I have filmed many jumps already): Isn´t the height of about 900 feet absolutely too less for a wingsuit jump? It is quiet well-known that a wingsuit starts working only after 300 feet minimum, and you can see that there: 5 sec (!) vertical falling, only 3sec gliding, than throwing the parachute and impact only 2sec later!

I think using a wingsuit at this bridge makes absolutely NO sense, am I right? That was a jump with too much risk!

  • @dannystrasser Yes, you are right. There is simply not enough time to gain any significant forward momentum before you have to pull your chute. I'm pretty sure this guy got distracted by paying more attention to his forward velocity than his vertical.

  • @TheAndrewMobley That´s exactly what I was thinking. Well, he can be lucky that the price he paid for that distruction was not his life...

  • I can tell you from several pixels, this is photoshopped.

  • @KingFr4nky no its not! it isn't something impossible to happen

  • @KingFr4nky I was there. It is not photoshopped. You need to learn to count your pixels better.

  • @KingFr4nky I was there and witnessed it. This is EXACTLY what happened.

  • @takemehiking Yup same here. And in any other sport to hear the announcer like 5 minutes later saying "We just got word that the jumper IS ALIVE" would be extremely strange and seem a little too exagerated but in this circumstance it was absolutely necessary because i'm pretty sure the thousands of people including myself lined up watching over the bridge had thought they just saw someone die.

  • butz

  • Looks more like an error rather than a malfunction.

He opened the parachute too late

  • @buioso no he had a pilot chute in tow malfunction he was trying a low pull but his pilot chute got stuck hhe is alive with a spinal injury and a lung injury

  • @pmny119 I have seen a PC in tow and this is not the case. I witnessed this in person and know that he pulled so low that he only had enough time to get the PC to bridle extension. This is purely pilot error not a gear problem. We call this retard low back home.

  • how the fuck is this disturbing? is it an attempt to draw more viewers?

  • oh my dear Lord

this guy set a new world record but I kinda doubt there will be anyone who will break it

  • The people on the bridge are senseless. His parachute didn't open in time and they were like: Wow, amazing how he hit the river in that speed.

  • biggest belly flop ever

  • tomara q ele sobreviva sem sequelas

  • acho que ele demorou muito pra abrir o para quedas ! Não houve tempo para infla lo

  • This video is very real people. He is in fact still alive and is stable, however has many injuries and is in a lot of pain. I will continue to pray for him.

  • @jennigill1 thankyou

  • Jumping a Wing suit out of a low object is like participating in the special Olympics. Even if you win you still retarded

  • photoshop

  • His name is Cristopher Brewer. The video was filmed in Fayetteville, West Virginia.

Thanks god, he's fine ,just some broken ribs, as the news say.

Hope you get better fast! peace bro

  • @ZonaryQuasar it is a little worse than that dude but he is doing good.

  • all of you assholes posting stupid insensitive shit, this is a early 30's guy who is paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of his life. so good luck with Karma, i hope there are some pricks there to post for you when you get yours.

  • @teej750 thanks man chris is a friend of mine and many and he needs support right now. He is doing better and hopefully he will be able to walk again one day.

  • @flyboy8501 I'm a rappeller and was on rope underneath the bridge when he hit. Although I was not looking, I heard the splash which sounded much like a cannon. We will keep him in our very best thoughts and prayers.

  • "Lets see umm... yeah!"

  • does he make the guniess record for highest belly flop? Seriously though, does? He should.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOw

  • Here's an idea coming from a jumper that was at the event. Rather than only putting this video up so potential jumpers can "learn" from this (if that's really the reason you posted the video) set up some sort of way to donate to this guy, who is still ALIVE, to help pay for the medical bills that are going to haunt him for the rest of his life.

  • @nmatera we are working on this hopefully I am heading to our home dz this weekend and talking to all our friends about it, chris is the most humble guy anybody could know, he loves life has served our country and did a tour in iraq. he needs our support right now.

  • @nmatera ehm dont want to be rude, but why donate to this guy? i mean its very unfortunate for him what has happened, but dont you think that this was his own fault and that he clearly took the risk of exactly that to happen? i hope he gets better soon and that he will be able to fully walk again and stuff but i prefer to donate to people who really need help.

  • @Laturbo good point laturbo, he knew the risks and it is unfortunate... but when you choose to exploit someones misfortunes at least don't do so in vain.

  • He survived and has been stabilized but has spinal injuries. We should all be keeping him in our thoughts and/or prayers. Although I'm not sure of his name I do know he is only 27 years old.

  • O melhor voo da vida dele, nunca mas ele esquecera!!!!
