I'm a pretty expressive coach anyway, and I'm looking forward to incorporating many of these signs with my hearing swimmers as well--how exciting that we can create a culture on our team so that when a swimmer who needs or uses signs comes to us, we will already be able to communicate!
Thank you for posting this! I actually was just talking today about how I want to learn signs for certain things to use during my swim practices. Not only to help my younger age group swimmers to focus more in order to learn better, but so I can stop yelling at practice and still get my messages across. :)
I really appreciate this video. What about tapering in swimming? Any accepted signs or terminology for that? Thanks!
