on certain window cills, u can deploy by holding the X button. you can also deploy it by going prone on a flat terrain, and u will have the option to deploy it.

on 360, get 25 kills with an machine gun (no SMGs). you should unlock the bipod. make a class for that gun and put the bipod on it. when you lay down an option should come up that says "Hold X to deploy" or something like that.

Well for PS3 if you have the bipod on your gun then you simply go prone and an option comes up saying press and Hold Square to mount your gun.... So I would assume 360 would be the same way just go prone and hold whatever button you use to get into tanks with and it should work.
