Frankly, these ads are kind of cheesy. Google Chrome is my secondary browser (Firefox being primary) and these ads everywhere on Google is getting tiring. I love Google, but people aren't dumb. These ads scream "Google says Google's browser's better. So what else is new?"

Well obviously it's going to work quick when you are working close to the server that contains all that data. If I try opening Google Maps on my 50 mbit connection located in Sweden it'll take a lot longer than that.
