Great vid man, I have your bikes little brother...R6, in the same color. I will get my R1 though in about another year and pass my R6 off to the wife.
Obviously because you would know my bike better than i do lol.....gotta act all big shot know it all because your to fucking cocky for your own good....spare everybody the bullshit comments buddy this is not a contest just a little entertainment...grow up a little
Yeah nice wheelies man. dbsshadow it all depends on what you are comfortable with. you may be able to cover the back break better in a sit down and you have more control in that position. get back into the throttle just befor landing for a smooth one.
Nice. I'm 14, and I'm female. my friend took me on his Street bike doing 100 mph, wheely was about 4 in a half feet high. My first time ion a street bike!
yes i said 100 mph wheelies suck. If you wanna see real wheelies and stunts come check out how San Diego Ryders do it. Look up " Sickness On Wheels" Im in this video. You know what im wrong 100mph wheelis are for rookies....LOL
hey man those r really nice wheelies . but im 16 and have been practing stand ups on a crf 450 . and what ive learned is to try to extend your arms and lean back . i dont know if this will help you keep it up longer but im just trying to help a fellow rider out . good video +5
Im learning to bounce up my 600 (Gsxr) in 2nd...was never a fan of bouncing because that's how I looped my last bike so just trying to get over the jitters again. First gear clutch ups are no prob, then shift into second, but that makes it tough to show off for cars on the highway (having to gear down to first and slowing to 35-40 clicks)
i just got gears for my r6 2up in the back .. is it going to do anything for me? Just gotta say that it whas not a problem to get it up before that ether.
Well 1 infront is 2,6 in the back , so with your 2 in the back aswell i think is a bit to much, and how much is you setup taking off your top(maxspeed) 8)
Well it does seem like a little much but ill tell ya its a wheelie machine and thats what i like.....if were talking top end i lost about 10 mph but considereing its a 1000, not too worried about it because i rarely open her up, i would rather hit some wheelies and shit
what does +1 in the front and -2 or the other way around do 2 your acceleration and top speed? Well really what i'm asking is what change to make gearing wise 2 make bike faster, and what changes to make gearing wise so its easier to stunt
Well that is talking about the number of teeth on your front and back sprockets. Instead of the stock number of teeth on my front sprocket i dropped one tooth in the front for better acceleration which hurts the top end but its like a defference of a couple of miles an hour.......and i also went up two teeth in the back sprocket to do the same thing but just to give it a little bit more acceleration.....this will help both stunting and faster
@staley1369 i gotta 06 cbr1000rr which i stunt. ima bigga dude n im strong enuf to handle the 1000 but i went down 1 n the frnt as well. but i went up frm the stock 42 or 43 to a vortex 54 tooth rear sprocket.. n that fucker is amazing! ride safe bro
If you want top speed then you want top speed you want to go up in the front and down in the back. If you want acceleration for stunts you do the opposite. If you've ever seen a stunt bike they have HUGE sprockets in the rear, takes barely any acceleration to stand it up.
Sweet, man you ride the shit out those. I want to try the stand-up, but a little nervous about it. I can do a sit-down pretty good on my gixxer 1000, stock gearing. I'm putting on 1 down on front and add 2 to the back sprocket. Hopefully this will help at lower rpms.
To be honest with ya man i think stand-ups are a lot easier than sit downs.....more control with your arms and body standing up except for the sit downs you have the back brake at all times in case you do go a little far back but with the stand ups not having that back brake easily accessable can get guys nervous but body language does go farther than what you think.....give them a try and let me know how it goes....later
youre right stand ups are much easier to control i can go further stood up. My R1's a 2000 model i was told by jummy fireblade(stunt rider on my channel) to go 1 down on the front and 2 up on the back to do easier 3rd gear wheelies. I go up in first and ride through in streets or in 2nd on open roads. Had 181mph out of mine with a bit left dont really want to sacrifice too much speed with changing sprockets, did it make much difference? Great vid by the way!
good wheelies, finally someone not using the staggered technique, looks heaps better

Yeah, stand ups are easier than sitting down in my experience too.

sick wheelies. u were in 2nd or what?
nevergoinbak1900 4 years ago
yer id say 2nd or third on that bike
spadastunter 4 years ago
I think it is third. He downshifts 3 times going from cruising speed, which i think would be 6th. Also, 2nd gear is crap in those model year bikes.
