  • you are amazing...

  • 2 kobraf150

Could you please stop irritating with that, please! :)

  • ok thank you please!

  • Your irritation is similar to mine of how some say please too much...for example: "please pass the salt please and could you please also pass the butter please." In any language that would be irritating.

  • Hi, it's been a while!! nice to hear from you.

    I know, I know! She's married now!

  • wha~? you READ chinses???@@

  • WOW! you amaze me every time anew! how have you been anyways? it seems like you learned alot in all the different languages you speak! i wish some day i will be able to speak japanese along with other languages as freely as you do.. that's simply astonishing.

you should post something about how your life has been going!! i bet alot of people would like to know! be it video or written text, - don' care! you look like you've been doing good though! haha

  • I know what you mean about being able to express oneself better in a foreign language. Strange isn't it :)

  • Really enjoyed that video- It was really helpful having that big french chunk :)

( Je suis vient moved to Toulouse in Francd from the UK so I have been watching your videos for some time to get prepared!)

Anyway, Merci becoup, keep up the bien travaille! you are amazing :)

  • BTW I also find it annoying to no end when people mention my first name more than once in a conversation. I have a very smarmy college professor who does that.

  • lol! how old is your professor? some do that if they have a bad memory for names - a common tech to help remember. though if he's truly "smarmy," yikes! re Leyla's question: i don't mind if people use my name once - or twice if our conversation is loooong. in other situations it can sometimes be obvious when they are doing it to be condescending. on a good day it reminds me to keep my own ego in check - if a bad day i have caught myself mirroring their behavior so they know to stop. )o:

  • lol yeah exactly, when you do the same to them they just stop. ... i noticed that too

  • So you can express yourself better in foreign languages. Interesting. I find it much easier to express myself in my native English than in other languages. Maybe its because my knowledge of English is much better and I know more colloquialisms (expressions familières) in English.

  • C ya again!!Thanks for the video.

  • Hi, I just discovered your videos and this one. And signed in to answer: Intesting and true, what you say about French, and some behaviors. Fais confiance a tes sensations!

    Vive les langues!

  • that beginning part in chinese was very well spoken. sounded rather accurate. i wish i knew people who loved language as much as you, as many of my multilingual friends are loath to share their language{s} with me.

    cheers!

  • WB! You HAVE to post more French videos! I miss them! Also, Leyla (sorry!) I know what you mean about the name thing. But actually, used more like a light seasoning and not constantly, it's a way to be friendly. Salespeople use it all the time. I do it with clients on the phone, but only when greeting and goodbye, like, "Good morning, Mr. Jones, I'm calling about your order..." and later "Thank you for your clarification, Mr. Jones, and have a great day..." More would be annoying I think. =)

  • In my job I do that too. But I try to do it 'nicely' to sort of personalize the relationship, and make the customers feel @ ease.

But yeah, some pple just annoy me when they end each of their sentences with my 1st name.

  • Happy New Year! Miss you much. Hope to see new videos soon and thanks for all you do.

  • Good to see you again and once again inspiring me in the right direction.

  • Welcome back!

  • I know what you mean about the using of your first name over and over again. LOL. It's like they think you're stupid or something. I know my name and I see you are talking to me cause you're looking at me...

  • I completly forgot I was subscribed to you - you hadn't made a video in such a long time.

  • Hello!!

Good to see you again.. Your Mandarin is getting better. Keep it up!

  • thanx for noticing.

  • its good that ur back!!

  • i forgot i was subscribed to you! what a nice surprise! Once again, impressive how many languages you seem to have control of, when i have such a tough time with the few i know anything about

  • so glad you're back! wish you a merry christmas and happy new year!

  • i luv u girl~ =] <3 the way your speaking chinese! =D

  • i rly wish i can speak french like u. i'm planning on taking it all through high school, so hopefully i can speak it fluently at the end.

  • Yaaaay! It's youuuuuu! I was just thinking about you and your videos a few days ago. I was missing both. :D Glad to see that you're still around! Thanks for the video!

  • a new camera would be the perfect gift for you this christmas

  • yeah I know :) I used my phone, cuz I was tired and didn't have the courage to sit there and deal with all my webcam settings and configuration and lighting/contrast issues and so on...

  • Bonjour

Je te souhaite un joyeux Noëlle aussi :-)

Good to hear a sign of life from you ;)

Have you studied Chinese in the meanwhile?

  • Yes, well not really!

I started hanging out with Chinese people, so that helps.

  • I love your lessons, they're very helpful.

How old were you when you studied Japanese/picked up on other languages? I ask because I'm worried that my potential for learning new languages might be waning with age. Hanging out with people of another tongue hasn't helped me much personally. By the way, I know you must hear this all the time in the comments but you are *very* *very* beautiful. With that coupled with your kind disposition you should have more confidence in yourself as a person!

  • Bonnes fêtes !
