  • Finally! Intermediate here I come!

  • I know all there is to java. ive taught my self for long hours for like 1 1/2 months . i skipped GUI tho. dont need it for anything yet. Tell me tho jsut incase, What is Everything I Must Learn In Java?

  • bitch please, im in part 8

  • TO SUM UP THIS VIDEO IN 1 MINUTE:

    He's doing an if-else statement. All you do is:

    if(variable == whatever thing)

    {

     system.out.print("message here");

    }

    else

    { system.out.print("message here");

    }

    What it does is if the variable equals a certain number, it says the first statement. If it doesn't (which is what the else is for), it says the second statement.

  • How did this video get double the views of the past few videos? haha

  • *Cries* I'd like to thank Bucky and all his a-pulls and tuna. And his ex-girlfriends, especially crazy. This was a great semester, and *sniff* now I can Women wo = new Women();, just like Bucky Roberts. Now I move on to Advance Java with Bucky.

  • @KadeisAmneth split screen of course

    @xXxDiukexxXx I'm 14 and I've watched all of these, bought books on the topic and am planning to make my own side scrolling-game with my friends(an artist, another programmer and some guy who has good ideas) in the future. :P

  • @SurgeDungeon pfft thats pathetic... 14 and watching these videos? I myself am 9 years old and will soon make my own first person shooter written in Java. And MINECRAFT? fuck that. Runescape is where its at brah

  • @D41ryQueen So you are 9? And watching these? And, oh, your dearest mummy isn't going to be very happy to see you using that kind of language, is she? No she isn't, small child. And RUNESCAPE?!?!? I'd like to see you try.

  • @D41ryQueen You know Runescape is made in flash right ._.

  • @pikachumasters12 no, its made with java lol

  • @pikachumasters12 No.. Runescape is written in java.

  • @D41ryQueen I noticed that you're 9 by how you act, idiot.

    Age doesn't matter at all. It's fun to start program when you're young (I started when I was 9 too, and I'm 14 now) but you don't have to be a bitch about it.

    And don't disrespect others opinions, you're never going to get anywhere if you continue with that attitude.

    Also, it's a GOOD thing that Minecraft inspiring people to start programming.

    So if you only can write down disrespectful stuff with your tiny hands, don't waste your time.

  • @SurgeDungeon Wow! That sounds great! I would LOVE to make a game, but I"m pretty much alone for this.

    :(

    Oh well, I hope your game goes well

  • Resting the first video views with this one we get that 1106241 kids couldn't make a better minecraft, lol.

  • I just cant belive that i made it through all the 87 videos...!!! Thank you Bucky!! I am going to learn php c# and all the languages !!! ;)

  • great series bucky...really good stuff...im an intermediate programer now :D

  • actually, a better way to compare strings is :

    if (a.compareTo(b) == 0) ...

    compareTo would return a positive number if a is 'greater' than b, and negative if a is less than b, and 0 if they're identical. You could then use these values to determine whether to swap them if you're sorting them, for instance.

  • actually, a better way to compare strings is :

    if (a.compareTo(b) > 0) ...

    compareTo would return a positive number if a is 'greater' than b, and negative if a is less than b, and 0 if they're identical

  • Wait. From now Should i Just go to Game Deveolpment or Do intermediate First?
