  • An engine that was 50 years behind the Ford Flathead V-8!!

  • I love my panel truck, but I think Chevrolet would have thrown up in their mouths if they had know what I was gonna do to it...

  • i dont know why chevy didnt use fuel injection and double OHC on this truck, it would have given it better power and mpg.

  • Yesteryears box truck.

  • Now this is how a commercial should be. It should convince you that the product is good, practical, or even interesting. Not use the fact that it's just cheap.

  • Is that the model you like Mr?

" huh who said that! Damn I got to quit smoking soo much weed."

  • This is the last model available, in La Havana , Cuba......

  • It was no match for the Ford V8 at the time.

  • Where did we go wrong??

My 82 gmc sierra 1500 in-line 6 gets better MPG than the new ones!...lol It passes smog with ease also.

  • Stef, In 1928 plymouth boasted its 6cyl flathead engine would get 25mpg in a four door sedan. this vehicle probibly got in the neigborhood of 16-19 i'd imagine new.

  • Que exelentes tiempos

  • lol thay never say how many miles per gallon it can do, proberly 15 miles per gallon back in those days lol crap

  • @stef1652 why would that matter gas was 50c a litre

  • Back when Official American test really meant somthing.

  • Yeah.. wish I lived in this era.

  • im 15 and i have a 1994 chevy cheyenne c2500 and it huals ass it really reliable it still has the battery since i baught it 6 years ago and the last ouwner got the battery used from a friend .

  • theres something wrong with you son if you rather have a panel than a 66 nova

  • All you need is a Chevy 327ci !!!!!

  • I'm only 14, and i just bought a 1946 chevy 2.5 ton grain truck. As said before they are amazing looking trucks. I just recently inherited a 1959 chevy apache my dad had with a 454 in it.

  • I've been looking for a long time and finally landed my first pre 48 streetrod. I settled on a 46 chevy panel. I just love it! I get far more looks in the panel than I do in my pro street 66 nova with an Ls-2. I'm alreay saving money for an air ride suspension.... Panel owner for life!!!

  • I love my Chevy Panel even more now, thanks for posting this

  • Now THIS is a commercial!! Clearly shows that Chevrolet panel trucks (I have a 1946 3/4 ton) are the coolest vehicles to ever sit on four tires! I love it!
