@Lowiebeatz yes, indeed. mxl v69. just recorded via a focusrite saffire (with the onboard micpreamp), so nothing really high-end. i added some artificial reverb in the daw with some vst-plugin, nothing special as well. hope that helps.

@david12403 hi! thank you! :) it's only the mic ran into the focusrite saffire with the onboard preamps. :) no big magic or other tricks. and the backing track was supplied by another youtube user. :) cheers!

@anytingtv i think the reverb was some free vst, routing was definitely an aux-send routing, but if the plugin has a Dry/Wet control, insert shouldn't be a problem, but i'll see if i can find the project-file and recheck for you asap. i'll keep in touch with you!

I recorded the video with a Sony miniDV cam and the audio with some audio software (I think I was using Audacity because I didn't have Cubase back then)

For syncing the audio and video in the video software (Windows Moviemaker) I just clapped my hands in front of the cam and my microphone, so I could easily move the finished audiofile to the position where I clapped my hands on the video. You then just delete the clapping part in the beginning and you're finished :)
