Okay, I might be wrong, I've only seen and taped a couple of episodes after this (for this round) but I'm wondering it this is the "Plan A" that Jamal talked about to Jack. If he's pretending to have gone to the dark side, but really waiting for an opportunity to help her/rescue her. And if the reason he's acting that way and not confiding in her is because he knows they are watching or could be watching... just a thought. Like I said, I could be wrong. I'm seeing this all for the first time. :)
