Fang, my son's maine coon cat did not like snow. He was an indoor/outdoor cat. When it was snowing/raining, he went out to go to the bathroom and came back in as fast as possible.

Too adorable! Talon, my first Maine Coon, hated snow. He'd take a step, fuss-meow...another step, fuss-meow. Dusty is so sweet batting at the snowflakes! The chin rubbing at the end is great - isn't it nice that they have such big chins to rub!

hi, ive got 2 maine coon kittens that will be 5 months old in a few weeks and Sheldon has the same colour and markings as Dusty. i think this is what my Shedon will look like when he's older. i cant express how much they look alike. i wish i could compair pictures.

I have a cat which I got from the local cat shelter as a kitten...

Looking at YT videos of Main Coons and reading all the details on Main Coon websites, I think that she is a pedigree Main Coon...

Her physical characteristics, vocalisations, intelligence, and behaviour are all perfectly Main Coon-like. She doesn't have one un-Main Coon characteristic...

And now I'm suspicious and fearful that she may have been dumped at the cat shelter because of the genetic defect that causes heat disease...

Strangely enough, my Maine Coon hates the snow! He takes a couple of steps outside, notices how cold it is, and immediately runs back into the house making unhappy sounds.

It's funny when you remember his ancestors lived in that sort of climate all the time!
