Go to a good boot store as opposed to a western wear store. Let them know you are looking for riding boots, and let them know that western boots are new to you.

anyone know of a good western riding boot? i like th ones with the rounded toe sorta style....i started reinning this year but only hav my old English boats?...ive seen alot that i like but just not sure of brand, and there seems to be alot that look like a western riding boat but are just work boat and to wide...any brands suggestions would be amazing

If you mean it doesn't help cause the horse is already trained or because he doesn't explain some terms, I can see that. But for me, it's great because I know the basics of what he wants and how to get it (like 'round' and 'power from behind' and 'traveling in front') so this is really helpful for me for working the green horse I will be riding as I have never done the stops before. I love this little bit of a lot of help. He makes a few great basic points in just 3 minutes!
as a person who has never done reining but absolutely loves it, I love to see clips and have been considering getting this training series. Im not sure if they are meant for novices like me but think that shall be my bday gift:-)
