  • Love your show. One correction though, these wheel will not increase wheel travel becuase the outer cv location does not change. If the suspension was a swing axel, which the axel only has one pivot point, wider stance and/or larger tire will effect the wheel travel.

  • @DeanB44 Thanks. But, as the distance from the pivot point increases so does the travel. It may not be much but it is an increase.

  • @ATVTVCOM Entertain this thought for a second. If you look at the machine from the rear, the centerline of the outer stub axel is parallel with the ground (not counting the camber setting). As the suspension travels from stop to stop the stub axel angle mostly remains. The whole purpose of the outer CV is to turn the axel back parallel with the ground and reduce scrub. If the stub axel angle remains, then wheel travel remains. Wheel travel is determined by the distance from outer CV to inner CV.

  • @DeanB44 Ah Haaaaaaa! I should have stayed awake more in class! Or at least thought more before I spoke...

  • I just ordered a set of 12 inch itp ss112 wheels for my 2004 suzuki eiger and 26x10x12 mud lite tires for the font and 26x12x12 mudlites for the rear

  • The effect on the ground clearance will depend on what tires you mount on the wheels. Doug

  • what about the ground clearance how do they affect it please answer me im thinking about getting them

  • mhm.?
