@kuikoman ya if its in decent shape that is an ok price. those early models had the problems with the smaller crank shaft but out of all the ones we have worked on at mazda, few of them ever broke.
@flyinbiker2001 yes yes i know all that. I worked for Mazda as a technician for a few years and they beat that into our heads. These cars dominate on the autocross with their almost perfect weight distribution and they are tough as nails. The "Girls Car" is a common knock because of their small size and the "cute" aspect. A lot of girls drive them here and they don't exactly have a "mean" appearance but they sure are fun as hell to drive and race :) Nice 91 BTW
@shaggyz6 I was commenting on the fellows comment below,my first Miata was a 95 also I was a tech at Ford and installed a 302 HO Stroker (347) and T-5 in it but a guy offered 4 times what I had in it and I sold it,this one will stay a 4 with the gas crunch coming-Enjoy
yea the flushed low offset wheels with some over fenders, lowered, with a hard top, I/H/E youll be set bro. even though miatas are girl cars lol jk man.

I might actually get mine out and drive it before the year is up lol. I can't decide on a new lip. A mugen one, J's racing, or a Spoon. My friend has a J's racing one and it is super sharp.

Thats how almost all projects start. but i have planned for a new set of wheels enkei rpf1s, go a half inch to a inch lower LS/V engine and tranny swap. hopefully itll be done by the end of winter. and J's racing lips look awesome id go with that one you talking about ur hatch right?

@shaggyz6 Yea RPF-1s look awesome to me i want then in 16X7 my koseis are 15X7. I may get black to go for the all stealth look black on black or some other color i really cant make up my mind. after the swap Cross your fingers if it all goes according to plan ill get better suspension components and track the sum bitch may get some othert cosmetic stuff but idk. and thats nice hope you get your stang together man. seen a SVO today for the first time in a shop it clean and nice sounded marvelous

The new OEM ones are $4300 on some websites and the Carbon Fiber tops are $1,600. Thinking the CF one might look pretty nice. I may go that route if I cant find a good used one.

@hondarida5 thanks. I may go with an exhaust and intake for now but mostly trying to keep it stock. Been searching around the net the past few days and have to say some of them look pretty damn sweet! The slammed flush look looks really nice but super impractical hahaha.
I love this car I don't know why people think its a girls car its a sports car women drive boring cars with big boots so they can fit shopping in.

Lower it on coilovers,full catback exhaust,Headers,Intake,And fuel rail and you will be set straight.JDM!!!!!! I love the car...
