i love this piece so much, because it is played on my fav scene where i can see poor sad face jane and also poor sad face mr bingley leaving netherfield and looking sad at his sister..breaks my heart but i just love that scene
"You have bewitched me body and soul and I love, I lov-, I love you." I LOVE that falter in his voice! X ) I also love it when he helps her into the carriage and after their hands touch briefly he flexes his as he's walking away. Eeep! lol
I sometimes walk around the countryside near my house and pretend I lived back then in Austen's time period. It takes some imagination, but I always manage it!
i used to think i was the only one who felt like i wasnt born in the right century and place, but apparently im not the only one!
if i had the chance, i would give up all these amazing technology like phones and stuff, and go back to the century i realy belong.. those romantic letters, gentlemen and all those mistery stuff!
All the music from this song make me feel so emotional. All the songs are so raw! It's hard to explain unless you really get into the movie and FEEL what the song is saying!
I wish I was born in England, in this time period. Even though the technology today is amazing and everything is at your fingertips, life was slower-paced back then.. and so much more beautiful. Plus, the gentlemen were truly gentlemen :)
my sister got me hooked on this movie and i watch regularly. yet i am a sophomore guy. you'd think i'd be watching the stupid movies every other guy watches. nope
@theatergeeksjk24601 you are the rare sensitive guy who allows himself to be real about his gentler side.... thank you for that... the world needs more of you....
@leananshae you say that as if you somehow know that guys, in fact, have "gentler sides" that they are not real about. It's no secret that some guys are emotional in the way that theatergeeksjk may be, but I know plenty of guys who aren't emotional openly and express their emotions in subtler and less detectable ways. what an oversimplification of the male gender.
I love this score.... I remember when I first saw this movie I could not stand the actor that plays Mr. Darcy up until he proposes to Elizabeth. When he say he loves her he looks beautiful. Very vulnerable, and an excellent performance!
@jeterlover03 i think this is what makes him lovable - it´s just an incredible honour being loved by sbd as unsocial as him. as to the performance, you´re definitely right: you just think he really is like his mr darcy. and did you see the bonus interviews? he´d like life to be like austen´s time, because he´s too shy for flirting!!! : D i adore him <3
This is mine and my mums favourite movie. I cant even count how many times weve seen it, any bad day we watch it any rainy day we watch and just in the mood for an incredible girl movie haha
that's what I think!! the movie can always give comfort to me and make me feel peaceful. it's so delighting~ I really want to share with mum too, hope she'll love it ~^^~
I love this part of the movie, although it's pretty sad. The way Mr.Darcy looks out the window and Mr.Bingley! The mosic is breath taking. Pride and prejudice has stolen my heart.
Don't u guys just love the book and the movie! but the worst part is they changed so much in the movie! i have to say the book is better! have u guys read it yet! i LOVE the movie! i've watched it 10 times na d the book 3 times
I read this when I was 6, with help from my wonderful Mother, and now, 10 years later I still read it, at least once every two months. It really is one of my all-time favourites. Although, saying that, I still prefer Sense and Sensibility to Pride and Prejudice. Odd. :-)
Yeah. I'm hoping I can get the book actually! ClareLovesLife have you read conviction by skylar hamilton burris. or Darcy takes a wife. Those are sequels to the book. I truly wish they would make a sequel to the movie! Personally i love the 2005 one than the one in 1995 but i wish they would show the wedding in the movie!
