1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one MEDIATOR between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
1 Timothy 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which NO MAN can approach unto; whom NO MAN hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.........Ontario Canada
Hey reading and question then acts 7:55 54When they heard this, they were furious and gnashed their teeth at him. 55But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, LOOKED up to HEAVEN and SAW the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. 56"Look," he said, "I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God." NOt implying anything but obviously stephen saw something first hand that we are debating unnecessarily.
Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God. This simply means what simply says, Jesus is at the right side of the Father. You can try to show whatever you want, but the first and most understandable meaning is that Jesus is at the right hand of the Father.
If Jesus is sitting to the right of a Father, then you are teaching that there are two physical images of God if I understand you correctly. If God has two bodies, you have two gods.
that´s a big problem with oneness followers, that what bible says, they look for 2,3,4,etc,etc, sentences trying to say it was not like that, and later they include other words that other christian don´t use to confusse people.
I did a whole video on John 1:1. See my series God is one person. I think it's video 2 or 3. By the way, it answers John 1:1 like no one else I know answers it. It gives you the definition from the Word of God of the term "Word".
You got it all wrong. First you claim to know what "trinitarians" believe but you have no idea, it is something i fear to explain because of it's complexity. It is beyond me. When Jesus prays to the Father that we may become one like "we are one" He is referring to the unity. Yes it is one God. but Father, Son and Holy Spirit. that is the ONE TRUE GOD. Your mistake is that you think that it's three separate persons. and i say to you. God is three UNITED Persons.
Revelations 19:13 talks about the Word of God. "He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God." This is the same Word that John is talking about in John 1:1.
The Lord was in Heaven as our Invisible God, and on earth as the visible "express image" of God (Heb 1:3), simultaneously during a thirty three year period way back in the first century. It is ok for the Lord to operate this way and I don't find it heretical according to the scriptures. The Lord Jesus is Yahovah, the Father, there is One God. He is manifesting Himself in this manner to accomplish His great work of redeption, which is almost finished. Amen. Seated at the right hand is ok! :)
I agree offline except, the right hand thing. If you look at other references of what Jesus meant by that he meant as a place of power. Not sitting next to someone. For example, Matthew 26:64 Thou hast said, nevertheless I say to you, Hereafter you shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of POWER, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
[64] Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
[3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
BOTH trinitarianism AND modalism are unbiblical views of the ONE GOD.
God is ONE. Deut. 6:4
This ONE God has a Son, who is NOT the ONE GOD:
"For there is ONE GOD and one mediator BETWEEN God and man, the man Jesus Christ." I Tim. 2:5
The mediator (Jesus Christ) is NOT ALSO the ONE GOD.
"Now an intermediary implies more than one, but God is one." Gal 3:20
MODALISM = GOD IS THREE "SUBSTANCES" = A FORM OF TRINITARIANISM and EQUALLY HERETICAL.
JESUS IS GOD = IDOLATRY

You are saturated in foolishness and this is beyond repair.
You have the audacity to sit there and presume to KNOW that YAHWEH, the Creator of Saturn and Jupiter did it without HANDS!
He created us in his image, so he had hands!
You foolish man. Stop teaching, please, like immediately.
Yahweh WALKED with Adam and WALKED with Abraham and Moses!
Do you really believe that Yahweh needs a flesh suit to go about his will?
Shame on YOU for multiplying this ridiculous nonsense.

Thats what I have been saying to this clown.
The Lord is One UNITED Lord just as Deuteronomy 6:4 clearly teaches.
"Echad" means UNITED.
You think this uneducated heretic knows that?
