hey blunty, thats basically like the quality of my old LG U8360 flip phone, and I now have a Nokia n73 which records much better video and audio wise, as far as resolution? the n95, n81 and afew LG phones which arn't too expensive, record at 640x480 at 30fps, the LG Viewty records at an amazing 120FPS which I quite like, check out sum youtube videos, if its ok with you I'd like to post a response...

The Quality of the video gets pretty less in quality when put on YouTube, so this iPhone's video is very good, it a little bit better than my 22x Optical zoom Panasonic Video camera purchased in 2001.

Nokia N95 is my favorite phone for DVD quality video and 5mp photos - great phone usability also, (good MP3 support with normal headphones socket in phone). Got it with a £30:00 monthly contract (including 1 gig mini memory stick), would really recommend it to anyone.

Also must add that the sound is superb from vid recording on the N95 and it also comes with a TV connection cables bundled in the package (which I connected to my 32" HDTV, and watched my vids and look at pics - which is great for showing freinds holiday snaps !! - no drop in picture quality noticable on TV - which is a step up from my old N75 but that was 3.2mp)

Its named as dvd quality in the promotion, its the best video you will see from a phone (I think) even if it isnt VHS quality, its better than the webcam-esque i-phone and it can store more than 30 second clips.

Im still useing a Nokia 3310. This is now my second one. The first one lasted me almost 6 years. Sadly it died about a week ago. The second one (using now) a bought about 4 months ago form a small shop in Tottenham court rd, london. The old one was starting to lose it abit so I wasnt looking forward to it's passing. I loved that little phone. Even with all the technology about, im still not interested in camera phones, until the N95 came along.
