ive seen some really odd things... to me its simply what doctors are being taught and what is in their manuals... my grandmother had contracted shingles... it got in her eyes and got pretty bad... the doctor prescribed her antibiotics for it... yet when you search shingles online most information websites claim antibiotics should NOT be given to elderly or infants as the immune systems are too weak... it almost killed her until i made her stop taking them.. within DAYS she started getting better

Medicare has 85 B in fraud annually. They could tighten up the law that bankrupts ER's. Risk aversion at the FDA adds billions to drug costs. I also support means testing and tort reform. State legislatures have run up insurance costs with mandates.
