I have been thinking now, since my last post, that Joliet Prison may have been the "charm school from Joliet" that Steve is referring to. Not a big deal, but I remembered that Joliet Prison closed down awhile ago. I forgot about that after posting about Stateville Prison (also in Joliet). It is not a big deal, but if anyone's concerned and has time to look up this stuff .. it would be fun to read it next time I visit this site. And, too, I didn't want to be incorrect on my
And to 1000Magicians ... Thank you for your awesome posting !!
Because I recently worked @ Stateville, this song was going through my head ~ but they all are recent graduates of the charm school in Joliet ~ Just way too funnily put !

I was fortunate enough to see Steve Goodman live a few times before his tragically early death. This song is a true classic.

Did Steve write in the video clips? This is fabulous, you don't have to be from Chicago to appreciate this.
