I start the demo and it gets me online and into the demo opening with the planes in the hanger..then it just sits there. Oh register.....ok...thats it.
maybe someday i will buy it when there are more singleplayer missions and better AI. i could live with 4 planes but whats really important is like i mentioned the ai and the missions, multiplayer. hope they will improve that.
dude holy crap are you kidding me? Bad AI? Dude the AI in this game don't suck. As a matter of fact they may be too good. The sniper AI and the manuver-happy planes are perfect for this game, maybe a bit too perfect. The ai in this game aren't bad at all.
A tad dramatic from jblack. This is no arcade game and the planes are not just skins. I paid 38 dollars at Fries for my game and the addition planes do cost 7.62 each. Each planes is done beautifully detailed with multiple paint schemes. Each plane has it's own flight model. It will sound different and handle different. Each plane comes with it's own missions. Well worth the cash. The demo is coming soon.
but you have better graphics, better physics and flight dynamic and damage modeling. 4 extremely realistic planes are arguably better than a dozen less so.
It's now April 10. Is it still the rule to have to have the internet connection set up in order to have Rise of Flight and only be in single player combat?
This game is mint. I only have the free one for which has two aircraft but it is still bloody brilliant and I am going to upgrade very soon

What they forgot to mention:
- You have to BUY planes for $8 each on top of the $50+ you already paid.
You get a measly 4 planes yet the AI gets
all of them. yet Red Baron a 19 year old game gives you over a dozen planes.
- You CAN'T play singleplayer on a computer without an internet connection.

What does that say about RoF supporters?
I've also seen accurate but negative comments marked as spam.
It has good points and bad, but attempting to silence critics is a comment in itself.

You're correct on everything except the singleplayer part. You don't have to have an internet connection to play Singleplayer. Its on the website.

Then maybe they changed it after they got enough complaints.
However you do have to buy planes
for a stupidly high price.

@peejay1943 You still need to be online the first time. After that you can choose to start in offline mode. [Since last update].
