  • @somor98 ur awful

  • Diane's boobs.

  • I always melt at this part. 3:48 - 4:25 . So far, Beethoven is the only musician that's been able to make me swoon...

  • Yes, I remember attending this concert when I was younger. It was truly inspiring.

  • I wonder why it is that nobody in the audience can see her.

  • @musichistorian1 thank you! hehe

  • wow they just combined like 3 or 4 of his biggest musical masterpieces or have i been listening to them all separately?

  • obviously this is all fictional including beethoven conducting at the 9th premiere (didn't happen... he was there and kept time but someone else conducted) but still, this scene is moving and appealing.

  • You was there ? Wow! Tell us man.

  • @RAREpicture i didn't have to be. there are first hand accounts.

  • You was there ? Wow! Tell us man. It's a movie, man. Wakeup !!

  • Why do I feel like that Ed Harris who is playing as Beethoven conducting so much like Leonard Bernstein in a way....quite extraordinary.

Explicit Film. Very well put. Bravo!

  • semplicemente meravigliosa!!! <3

  • Wow, when the choir sets in.. it brought up tears to my eyes

  • that girls is so fu cking anying

  • when the audience of the time first heard this, i'm sure it blew thier wigs off!

  • @ldaccardi Doubtful. Unless I am mistaken, wigs had fallen out of fashion by that time.

  • @ldaccardi Well, I rather mean to be supplemental than contrary . . . they were surely in awe as you say; if not, they were deaf.

  • what is the name of the first symphony that they performed?

  • This scene made in Kecskemét, Hungary; in the Katona József Theater. I was dummy. The shooting lasted for 2 days.

  • So touched!

  • SURELY THE BEST PART. I'm breathless.

  • that girl pisses me off

  • why?//

  • The final movement of the symphony sounds awesome in E flat

  • You're not right! The firstz three movements are 45 minutes. And the last is over 20 makes a playtime over an hour!

By the first presentation in Wien 1824( i think it's right year) there was a playtime from over 3 hours because there were played parts of the missa solemnis an the mass in c major!

  • brillant stuff!!

  • but not the whole symphony!

    the best piece

  • sure not whole symphony. The whole symphony is about 45 minutes. How long would the movie be?

I remember that when that movie came to greek cinemas hadn't got great success...

  • Yes in germany too

  • GREAT, FANTASTIC, WONDERFULL ...
