Sweden is a socialist country. They have a high GDP, and lower rates of alcoholism, teen pregnancy, and suicide per capita then the US. They also rank very highly (much higher then the US) in polls asking 'How happy are you?'. How do you justify this against 'Socialism does not work'?

If the listener is not frightened when one calls another individual a liberal, then use socialist/progressive/communist/etc. until the listener is sufficiently scared to be convinced by what one says.
