Even the titles now are fucking embarrassing. At least with these ones Hollyoaks just seemed like a respectable soap. Looking at it now, you're cringing before the live action even begins.

I'm kicking myself becayse I REALLY wished I watched hollyoaks from 2006-2008. Those were the grand years apart from the beginning of the show. If only I watched it back then, if only I did, then maybe I could appreciate it more than now because it;s going downhill... :c

i was bout 10 when i heard this tune used to dance to it all the time lol takes me bk luv hollyoaks prefer this one to the 2010 tune but then again someone else took over hollyoaks so not suprised EVERYTHING changed but still gd plots

I used to occasionally watch Hollyoaks when i was about 13- 15. I remember watching the ones where Andy tried to rape Nicole or something? And then i started watching it again last december. and i really wish i stayed watching the old ones! the characters are ace.

I remember complaining about the fact that most of the people in the intro were either dead or had left. I was so happy to hear they were upgrading the intro, only for them to give us the rubbish one we have now...

Oh well, at least the current one can be easily kept up to date. I mean, Tina was dead a week and they had taken her out of the intro already.

The new ones are definitely better, they can be updated much more easily, I only started watching the show a couple of years back and didn't know who half the characterss in this one were!

But I do agree that the theme in ths one is much more soap like, but I suppose Hollyoaks is a more modren soap....?

I like this one way better than the one now. I used to watch Hollyoaks all the time until, like, 2005/2006 and then I started again a few months ago. It's changed soo much. The only people I remember are Steph, Max( dead now :[), O.B, Mandy, Tony, Nancy, Dom, Frankie, Jack and Justin.
