  • Nice !

  • I love this app! :D

  • For SoundPrism to be ported to Android we need Google to make Android capable of supporting low latency audio.

  • @Audanika will this be available for Android? Thanks

  • Brilliant! Great work!

Is it also available for android tablets?

  • does the pro version come with more sounds? i saw Jordan Rudess using it in one of his videos with Morpwhiz. is that kind of thing only possible in the pro version or can the free version do it?

  • @ironwolg The pro version lets you connect SoundPrism to any hardware or software synth via WiFi or (iPad only) USB which means the amount of sounds.

  • @Audanika would it also allow you to program a sequence? when he was playing it wasn't just a chord or a single note being held, it was a sequence being played which would restart when he changed the bass note area as i understand it. is that something that is in the pro version? if so i'll probably have to save up and buy it because what he was doing sounded very cool

  • @ironwolg What Jordan was doing is he was using an arpeggiator plugin on the mac side of his setup. Pretty much every software or hardware synth has something like that built right into it.

  • @Audanika oh ok i see, sorry, still pretty new to the synth world. i'm primarily a guitarist but i'm trying to get into keyboards and synth technology as well

  • Is there a certain name for the scale that the program uses?

  • @Flailwielder It's a regular major scale. But it's arranged in thirds rather than in a diatonic way.

  • PLEASE let it be available for Windows! It is a cool idea but I just work with windows!

  • Any chance this will be developed for Android 3.0 tablets? I'd be first in line to buy it. This is beautiful.

  • I got this app recently. Loving it so far, although it's harder to play on the iPhone! I really wish the bass were louder -- and that there were more sounds I could use. Is MIDI support coming soon?

  • @fashnek midi support is in the pro version.

  • @mesondecay I know. When I asked that, though, there was no Pro version planned -- just an update to the existing app.

  • Saw this @ TEDxYouthberlin on Sunday!

  • I really love the composition from 1:29 to 1:40

  • awesome! can we record yet?

  • @steevj yep. :)

  • if i had an ipad i would get this

  • WANT

  • Gorgeous. I want. Let me know when it is available. I like your voice too.

  • Gorgeous. I can't find it in the Itunes Ap Store. Let me know when it is available.

    I like your voice too.

  • Zomg, its Merks hands!

    -Hayaishi

  • so how are the notes arranged?

  • Four Tet is going to love this!

  • WOW! Great!

  • Brilliant, I love the concept of the keyboard mapped that way, as well as the color change. Can this generate a note(s) MIDI output?

  • Why not for Mac too? Sounds fantastic. I'd buy it.

  • Wow. That's super exciting. I've been a naysayer ever since I bought my iPad, thinking it's kinda stupid that it's just a big iPod touch. But with an app like this I almost wish it were even bigger. Can't wait to play with it!

  • Wicked app - now I wish I had an iPad!

  • Amazing when can I get it!

  • Yea, MIDI would be great :)

  • LOL 4:13 "Oh I forgot, we have different instruments too, of course" I was sat there thinking how this app could possible be even better. And then you surprise me like that! If only I had an iPad / there was an iPhone version. This app is stunning.

  • Very impressive. Is it easy to play songs you imagine over and over, or is it more of a random experience every time? I'd also like to know if you can play songs from sheet music, as if it were any typical musical instrument.

  • @dwlimbo It's not random at all. It's very easy to improvise on it. Sheet music is just a pattern as well.

  • Interesting. And a cool programming project. Is it supposed to be a musical instrument? Is playing a real instrument cooler than this, or passé?

  • Sound samazing. Reminds me of Jean Michel Jarre...

  • headphones + this app + 1x doob = hours of fun.

  • WOW!!!!!!

  • Can you create a demo with more bluesy music?

  • This is awesome! Looking bloody brilliant too

  • meh

  • Fantastic idea but it will become so much powerful if you implement open source control or a wat to triiger external synths via midil

  • @drumcell ... or open sound control, yep... :)

  • Thanks everyone!

  • Fantastic stuff...unglaublich!

Can't wait 'till it gets approved.

  • Sounds like a Plaid (the band) pad. Phat.

  • You made a gorgeous job. Seriously, you solved the problem of octave switching while holding a note in the bass perfectly. And the playing aspect looks very responsive and smooth. Congrats, guys.

  • This is great, and will make it even more fun to show off my iPad, but I could not find it in the app store. When will it be posted?

How to make money with your iPad?

    goipad.co

  • That`s great. Good job guys.

  • holy mahony

    this is gonna be huge

  • DO WANT!

  • I want!

  • Is there a demo video somewhere of an actual performance? I'd like to know if this is actually playable in any meaningful way.

  • WANT!!!! :-D

  • What are some other good interactive touch screen music apps like this for iPhone? Also, this video convinced me to buy an iPad.

  • I want it today.

  • OH MY.

  • Great mate :)
