Man's soul is not immortal. We are ran on an energy- a breath of life. That breath belongs to the lord. When we die God takes back that breath. Kind of like a battery without the juice, that's it! You know nothing, feel nothing and over time we decompose and return to dust. There is no Hell ( yet). Hell means the grave. When Jesus returns he is going to resurrect all who are dead and lived in him. The living and resurrected will be changed in the twinkling of an eye. Then they go to heaven.
Those who are sinners, will drop dead when they see Christ because they will not be able to with stand the purity and light of his presence. After 1000 years in heaven Jesus will return to planet earth with his saints and hand down judgment on Satan and the sinners. That judgment is hell fire. After this the earth will be cleansed and renewed and the saints will be told by God to be fruitful and multiply. There will finally be peace. All sorrow will be removed. Your right during the time saints are in heaven they will be similar to angels. There will be no marriage,coupling, or birth at that time because it just doesn't go on in heaven. However, I believe that is only for the 1000 years in heaven when the homecoming, judging , explaining, and worship will take place. But after that time period the saints will return to earth, Satan found guilty will be destroyed and everything is going to start over the way God intended to be in Genesis.

After looking this up and speaking with others. The consensus I get is that you may indeed be right. I think marriage and procreation may be done away with in the next world. However, it's not 100% certain. This is something we won't know for sure until we get to heaven. However, regardless "Eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." 1 Cor. 2:9. God will have wonderful surprises planned.
In this world marriage and procreation often come with stress, worry and even unhappiness. Even in the best marriages and family's you have arguments. If marriage and procreation continue in the next world it will be joyous and always happy as it was meant to be and if these things end God will simply replace them with something much much better.

The person who doesn't make it to heaven will get as much suffering as they deserve, according to what the being in the universe who does not make a mistake decides, which is according to their works or the deeds done in their body while they were alive. they will probably think they deserved less suffering than they will receive and they won't be there to be glad it is over when it is over, they will be "as though" they "had not been."
Roger mentions that Satan wants people to believe in an immortal soul. But isn't the soul immortal as it continues to live after the body dies after death. If the soul was not immortal, then life after death wouldn't make sense. Or have i missed something here?

On the soul subject, there are more examples: think of the transfiguration, when Moses and Elijah appeared (ok, Elijah was raptured, but Moses did die)... or think of what Jesus told the thief on the cross: "Today you shall be with me in paradise"... he was talking about the soul. @brigig Jesus teachings is simply a doctrine to crucify your Ego from the many demons submerged in it. This is when Christ comes into play which is powerful energy that will help destroy your Ego. This Spirit was in Jesus with no modified energy in all it's fullness. It can be in us as well though we do NOT own it and it emanates directly from God. Man's soul is not immortal. We are ran on an energy- a breath of life. That breath belongs to the lord. When we die God takes back that breath. Kind of like a battery without the juice, that's it! You know nothing, feel nothing and over time we decompose and return to dust. There is no Hell ( yet). Hell means the grave. When Jesus returns he is going to resurrect all who are dead and lived in him. The living and resurrected will be changed in the twinkling of an eye. Then they go to heaven.

After 1000 years in heaven Jesus will return to planet earth with his saints and hand down judgment on Satan and the sinners. That judgment is hell fire. Your right during the time saints are in heaven they will be similar to angels. There will be no marriage,coupling, or birth at that time because it just doesn't go on in heaven. However, I believe that is only for the 1000 years in heaven when the homecoming, judging , explaining, and worship will take place. But after that time period the saints will return to earth, Satan found guilty will be destroyed and everything is going to start over the way God intended to be in Genesis.

@brigig I'm going to have to check on that. I used to believe that . I'm not actually sure what will happen to babies. However God said marriage was good and that was part of his original plan. Christ also said " behold I make all things new". We won't be angels , but we will be like God's angels in that we will be uncorrupted and immortal. Not Flesh, not angel, but still man, just in a different and healthy form. But let me ask a friend who would know.

After looking this up and speaking with others. The consensus I get is that you may indeed be right. I think marriage and procreation may be done away with in the next world. However, it's not 100% certain. This is something we won't know for sure until we get to heaven. However, regardless "Eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." 1 Cor. 2:9. God will have wonderful surprises planned.

If marriage and procreation continue in the next world it will be joyous and always happy as it was meant to be and if these things end God will simply replace them with something much much better.

(Luke 23:43) How could that be so under this theory? & what about the Luke 16 parable? The scripture reads: "..the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments..."(Luke 16:23) It says he died and opened his eyes in hell. The person who doesn't make it to heaven will get as much suffering as they deserve, according to what the being in the universe who does not make a mistake decides, which is according to their works or the deeds done in their body while they were alive. they will probably think they deserved less suffering than they will receive and they won't be there to be glad it is over when it is over, they will be "as though" they "had not been."
