she's really cute! but yes my puppy can do this and she is 4 months. she knew how to sit by 2 months but I don't really know how that is possible since I read a dog training book and they said pups don't really listen to commands until 3.5 to 4 months. I told her sit and in about a week she got the hang of it. but now at 4 months, she knows how to sit, lay, get up (stand on 2 feet paws for about 10 seconds), and give paw. I plan on teaching her way more. she's half lab and half German shepherd.

My chihuahua, Bambino, can do that stuff, and with better accuracy. She is really really thin :( and I wouldn't suggest giving her treats when you asked her to do one thing and she did another. Saying something like "Good try," and then asking her again is a better way for her to learn exactly what you want.

Nope sorry, unlike your Chihuahua, my dog doesn't screw up commands by doing the same one over and over. Don't reward screw ups, it reinforces incorrect behavior. Would you reward a kid for telling you 2 + 2 = 8?

I've been training dogs since I was a kid, you do not reinforce errors in execution, nor do you laugh, nor do you do multiple commands in string,or the dog will do it in combo as conditioned, each command that has proper exectuion requires a reward. Do not say commands repetedly, like "no no no", one word, one command,you also do it with hand signals for visual commands later on. Before tricks,the dog must know, proper heeling, and marker exercise.. Proper levels of dog training is essential.

Sure! i have a 1yr old Chihuahua "Newman" he is 4.5 pounds. he learned to play dead quite easy and the LoopdeLoo he spins in a superfast circle and looks like a gray blur. They learn to speak really easy too. the funniest thing is his rivalry with our swan that lives in the pond. its his nemesis and they playfight all the time with Newman barely escaping most encounters... lol
