  • Do you happen to know what these old Kays were made out of? It sounds great regardless

  • how short is that neck!?

  • Hey ... check that cabinet out. Show us that.

  • Your playing is amazing.

  • The colour is great, makes this guitar look like a 50's sea mist amoeba

  • damn the only thing im lookin at is that beard ha

  • Show us your bikes too!

  • I need one of these. I have a Silvertone 1413 in teal, and I'm a sucker for any of those old surf-era greens and blues, plus this has a really sexy shape. Awesome guitar with a great tone! My Silvertone recently came out of a 20-plus year hibernation because I thought (when I was younger) that it was just some old crappy relic. I had NO IDEA that it sounded and played so well!!!! Any "player" that writes these old Kay/Silvertone/Harmony guitars off is really missing out!

  • Mosrite copy?

  • Dude you rock.

  • dude, that could be a badass grunge guitar

  • haha!!

  • I prefer the c-cell myself

  • are you using a battery to slide with??

  • Someone on Ebay just a similar Kay with that color and called it "butt ugly". I disagree. The color adds charm to a cool old axe.

  • Yeah, I thought the design was beautiful with it's "budget 1960's Americana vibe" going on...

  • i have one under the silvertone name its exactly the same exept the pickguards black and the finish is red

i calls her long tall sally ;)

  • do have a westwood 75 to demo?

  • your slide playing is stuning

  • I've had my eyes on Kay guitars for a few months now. I like the looks of these guitars, I was thinking of buying one of their Vanguard models but I see they have other models that look just as good too. What are some other Kay guitars that look similar to the one you demonstrated?

  • this guitar brings back the fun I had as a youth learning the guitar,it was easy to play and sounded good, better than some of the guitars that I have owned in the last 40 years

  • what a nice sounding instrument. Whats the playability/action like on that thing?

  • And to think a lot of players won't touch a guitar like this because they think they are too cheesy. Old Kay's and Harmony's and the Japanese guitars of the 70's and 80's aren't bad at all no matter what anyone says.

  • There is a definite tone to this guitar, I's not great, but rather PERFECT .

    Gee, I need that tone....

    What gear are you using?

    thanks

  • Nice sound, and excellent playing.

  • kewl !!!!

    I absolutely luuurve that colour!!!!

  • always this fabulous sound and guitars! i like that :) bye bye

  • beautiful guitar. lovely sound as well
