Star Trek Enterprise Trip + T'Pol The Calling

the ending of enterprise was crap, but it was probably due it cancellation, but rick berman or whatever you call him said, if there had been a fifth season they would get together.

so if there is a new series it could be a continuation of enterprise.

@durdle1701 Aww thanks! I just used the Help files a lot and Google a lot and that was how I learned the program (Sony Video Vegas). Lots of things about that app piss me off, but I'm used to it now, so it works pretty well for me. lol Mostly, just sit there for hours and force things to work through sheer swearing a lot and Google. paramout should give enterprise a chance to come back after 5 years and the movie success 2009, new books have been written and the death off Trip has been fixed, so the story can continue. Who is interested look for the Pocked Book title "The Good That Men Do". I must say after seeing a lot of Star Trek series, i must say Enterprise had the best cast and a very good story line!!!!!!

I found they were their strongest at the end of the second last episode at the very end, and then the finale came it said they ended it right after that episode. After they put all that becoming closer stuff after the death of the Clone into the plot of Terra Prime, It just seems like a waste to focus your last episode on Riker, don't get me wrong I like him in TNG they could have ended it better then focusing it on him.

He should have seen that this was his chance to be with her since Vulcans don't show their feelings....

Excellent. Appropriate to use the Calling's "Wherever You Will Go". This is the song that Paramount and UPN used in August 2001 to promote the series. The song reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the spring of 2002.

great video have you seen the new movie-no spoilers but i saw it and immediately thought of the Enterprise series, the way the characters were more real, sexy less intellectual and lofty like in next generation---SORRY TREKKERS but characters like T'Pol and Trip are exactly what Gene Roddenberry envisioned.....I think that Enterprise was meant for a younger hipper audience, like Star Trek 09 it is unfortunate that the success of the series depended on TNG fans who DIDN"T GET IT!!!

t'pol, and trip, definately the best couple in a tv series for a long time. cause its so forbidden, and t'pol is vulcan, hence she's supposed to be emotionless but when she's with tucker you can see in her eyes she wants to smile, jolene did a great job with this character.

Enterprise is dead, has been dead, for going on 4 years. It's miserable. I decided to re-watch the entire series. The first two seasons were hit and miss, and the third season had become a serialized mess. I was getting tired of all of the time-travel arcs. But then Season 4 came around, and it was great. I mean, there were still some lame episodes. But the characters had really fleshed out. The Finale was garbage; horrible. They killed Trip, and for what? To make the episode more interesting?

He was my favorite character. My FAVORITE character. The 'Terra Prime' arc wasn't my favorite, but they were still damn good episodes. I wish I'd stopped watching on 'Terra Prime's conclusion. Because the finale was horrible. It marginalized the entire cast. It was an episode about Riker? If I wanted to see Riker, I'd watch TNG. They killed any possibility of a future film/series with this cast. But to leave on that note? Trip dead? T'pol alone? On that sad a note? WTF. Seriously? I hate B&B.

There were a lot of people (I among them), back in 2001, who thought Rick Berman and Brannon Braga, in charge of 'Enterprise' alone, would get around to doing something that would seriously fuck up the Trek legacy. This was the wrong place to write a tragic end to a love story. Fortunately, 'The Good That Men Do' does Trip justice.

my sister and i figured that the whole last episode is just complete bullshit. made up by some holodeck author. or are we supposed to believe that every second on enterprise was somehow recorded so it could be replayed later on? also, there are some mistakes. small things like trip never used to call the captain boss before and would never be so hysterical so quickly and bigger things like t'pol never EVER starting a conversation about their intimate relationship in a shuttle full of people!

descendant of who? he's half human only because of Amanda Grayson his mother. In my trek universe; T'Pol is just an ordinary Vulcan, perfect for Trip whose is just an ordinary human. Where as Spock and his family where a bit higher up in Vulcan society, a sort of class distinction thingie, The idea kinda helps me get over the emotionalism of the Vulcan's portrayed in ENT. Yes I know I may have a seriously bad Trek Vulcan obsession problem, I'm working on it!

I think it's pretty well documented in Enterprise that T'Pol is a low ranking "common jane" member of society who struggles with logic. She's a very emotional Vulcan even before she damaged her ability to control emotions - her mother denotes this several times.

Furthermore, it has been alluded to time and time again that Vulcan's are empathic/telepathic and so emo as a race that they go nuts without total control, logic is what saves them from being far more out of control than humans.

For the record... I hate Trek, except old 60's Trek which I am lukewarm on. Love this show though.
