Gauntlet Legends (DC) - Archer PWNS Skorne with BFG + Endings

I also have a lvl 99 green archer and I have a hard time with this even with other players, but I was not expecting to see Skorne explode, let alone that quickly!

I own this for N64. But this was waaaaaay better than on mine with all the cutscenes and even the loading screen (I don't have any, but the narrator makes more sense with it). Just way cool. I'm guessing the guy getting posessed at the end is the villain in Legacy. Not familiar with Legacy (though I have heard of it).

I've had a 99 but I don't remember the "Super Shot" Powerup being able to one-shot Skorm. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since it has been around 3-4 years minimum since I fought him. Well done

The trick only works on Gauntlet Legends for the Dreamcast and Gauntlet Dark Legacy for the arcades.

The Double Bow and BFG attacks were nerfed only in the fact that these moves can no longer include the 3-way shot. Otherwise, these moves are still excellent compared to the other turbo attacks.

how the hell did you kill him so quick. when i did it, it took me like 5 minutes with a lvl 99 medusa. man you got to tell me how to get that awsome gun please!!!

1. Get the Super Shot at the Swamp or Roots before exiting.

2. Buy potions. Buying lots of lightning shield will help.

3. Go to Underworld and use the auto-attack on enemies and use potions on the breakable walls.

4. Make sure your turbo bar is full before leaving the Gates of the Underworld.

5. Buy the 3-way shot for 1500 gold.

6. Go up close to Skorne and use the BFG turbo attack (you do have 3-way shot and 4 super shots left, right?)

7. If done right, you win.

This is indeed Gauntlet Legends. However, most of the gameplay is derived from the arcade version of Gauntlet Dark Legacy.

GJ, I'm playing a Sorceress right now and just killed Djinn. Almost to Skorne but I'm only lvl 40 and he'll prolly pwn me.

If you are having trouble against Skorne in the Temple, find and obtain the Soul Savior and fire amulet before leaving stage 1 of the Desecrated Temple. Afterwards, buy a three-way shot before commencing with the battle.

If you are having trouble against Skorne in the Underworld, be sure to buy a reflective shield and a three-way shot powerup before the final battle.

Be sure to gain some gold before attempting the Temple and Underworld.

I hope you win the battles against Skorne.

I didn't pwn Skorne as much as you did, but I bought an invulnerability + multi shot + speed + growth and he was dead before the invulnerability wore off. I lost 0 health so I was surprised at how easy the last battle is.

Great job. If you are using the Sorceress as you said earlier, don't be too surprised, yet you should be happy with your victory because her high magic abilities allow powerups to last longer and become more effective too.
