Trying to heal a divided country? Well, nearly 11 years later and we are even more divided now than then. Only briefly following the 9/11 attacks did most Americans come together. Those attacks were horrific, but the unity we saw in the months folliwng are now so unique and distant. Both GW Bush and Obama have failed to live up to their lofty campaign rhetoric about unifiying the US. Obama will lose next year, for failing to live up to his rhetoric and failing to fix our economy. He should lose.
