@Spilf don't know if you ever got a response to this or not but those aren't grips, that's a strap bar...basically in gymnastics we take a pbc pipe and make it fit the bar then take it heavily to provide grip from hands, on top of that we use different sized straps which are basically just rings of thick material that hold you in so you don't go flying off

I'm 16 and I'm so fortunate to have found this way (or the only way) of eating at such a young age comparably speaking to others.
Frank Medrano is my inspiration. Been doing my 400m warm-up Jog/Run (200m up n down followed by Dips+Crunches then another 200m) continued w/ Core Strength exercises. I don't want to be Frank Medrano - I want to take the lessons/passion/inspiration he and Arash continue to display fr us, n take myself to My next Level. I was going to throw some new stuff, but right before I felt comfortable to throw more stuff I busted my knee. I'm getting back into it now, just want to make sure I have a good foundation.
Do you think it's possible to get aesthetic as fuark (220 lbs at 6'2" at around 8% bf; quite achievable w/o roids I think) and then start gymnastics while mainting your physique?
Or do you think lifting heavy + gymnastics wouldn't go all too well together?
@IPrayingMantisI I'm no pro, but I think it's possible. Gymnastics is about strength to bodyweight ratio, so you can lift heavy as long as you're not putting on mass. I mean who's stronger pound for pound, a guy who benches 250 at 220 or a guy that benches 225 at 160? It will definitely be hard for you but I believe it's possible. Gymnastics training can only benefit you.

Alright, I have a thought that i need to bleed help for. Does everyone have that one arm that's stronger than the other or is it just me?With that being said, is there any type of exercise that I could POSSIBLY do to make my left arm as strong as my right? I have been attempting to do planche push-ups for the past 2 days and I am feeling it in my shoulders :) But will those types of push ups help my weak arm stronger? @TheByyku hmm. if you see somewhere at the gym wall, there is a logo (three stars blue white red) which was used when USA once hosted olympic games (i believe the one in LA). At that time the USSR and east germany still existed. i think the flags shown there are the participants' flags at that time.
