What's interesting (to me at least) was that I was recently thinking about getting a Slicer pedal (we already have two Gristleizers). I'm definitely getting one now!
just to clarify this is not intended to be the official gristleizer test video. as such we just ran it through some other effects to show that it plays well with others. not many people are going to buy this unit as their sole effect so it's helpful to see that it has lots of possibilities. for a majority of the video it's just TG and the slicer, and all the slicer is doing is adding rhythm and harmonics. the third sequence with me playing guitar has light delay on it but it's mostly TG.
It would be helpful for them to show the uneffected tone first, and also not use to many fx at once for most of the demo— you really don't get a clear understanding of just what the Gristleizer is doing.
This company is hyping this and the TG connection so hard it is disgusting...but I still want to build at least one...
also jmdonovan: you'll be able to buy high-quality unpopulated boards through the site so you can build your own if you'd like. there are also a bunch of possible mods, like a control voltage mod or an expression pedal-controlled bias or speed (or whatever). the instructions will be posted within a few months i believe. we're also working on a stompbox version if you're not into the tabletop design. thanks for watching!

I'll link to this video on the TG website.

I just checked out some of your stuff on Myspace, really digging it, particularly "Lukes Hymn".
Cant wait to see what a non-industrial group can do with the Gristleizer :-D
Whatever you come up with be sure to come and demonstrate it in the UK sometime :-)
Cheers!
