I was backstage at a John Frusciante gig back when I was about 7 or so (im currently 16), I wandered off backstage after the gig had finished, unbeknownst to my parents, saw John in the hallway, ran up and hugged him, told him I was lost, he took me to his chill out room or whatever, and let me hold his guitar while he called security. I also got to play Havana Affair on his Martin acoustic, so uh yeah :)

Well, those two worked together and played together. Josh is also a Chili's fan and is probably heavily influenced by John.

Remember, this is very similar to what happened with Hillel passed away (RIP) and was replaced by John. John respected and idolized Hillel and unlike Dave Navarro (he was more metal, not a Chili's cup of tea), was a perfect replacement.

Best we can do is just wait and hope the next album comes out good.
