@berlow7 im assuming ur car is an older model. paint over time gets damaged and fades beacuse of the sun. this sun damage is not shown behind the badges since it blocks out the rays.. in other words... ur shits fucked..

yeah you can get them debadged for free when ordering brand new or by the dealership you buy them from. when i got the car, it was later in the evening and the service workers were not on the clock anymore so i decided to do it my self.

yea i got it like weeks ago its black with blacked out tail lights and i had my amg rims painted black with a dupli color spray and got hid true blue head lights. i want to put subwooofers in it and some window tints soon

i stay in l.a and i have not run across any fake c-class amgs. then again i dont necessarily go out lookin for em. the funniest thing ive seen in the east l.a area is a 2001 nissan maxima in a vibrant blue color with the front end converted to a 7 series BMW....i was laughing so hard i almost crashed my own car hahahaha

yea it should be exactly the same. look between ur badges and the paint, if there is a gummy substance there then this method of debadging will work fine. goodluck

yeah the paint work on benz's are better... but i doubt it will cause any problems. if i were u i would purchase the goo gone from the store, pin a little hole on the seal and pour a bit on the bottem part of ur car... somewhere where if it does taint ur paint, no one will see... and if it does taint ur paint dont do it and return the goo gone. if not, DO IT!

Found you over at BW. I was scared for your paint. I just thought about another good debadging example. Removing dealer logos and emblems, people do that simply to clean up the look of their trunks.

pretty much have to hold the hair dryer to it constantly for 10 seconds before you start sawing it with the floss...

i dount wd40 will work. goo gone was only like 3 bucks.. its not a big investment, the floss on the other hand.. oh boy. 6 bucks @ albersons..
