@Meklo Again I am talking about bass. I play both stringed instruments very proficiently but guitar is very different from bass. I have met amazing bass players that play the guitar well and great guitar players that play the bass well but not both. When you replace a Bass player in your band make sure the bass player is as good as the old bass player thats all I am saying especially when your old bass player gave you a bit of a cutting edge. The newer stuff sounds to one dimensional now.

I think that they just evolved, sound different because developments over time, the bands can not be stalled because the fans are just tired ... should look for new sounds, experimenting. Pft, by NO MEANS was their movement from an exteremely erradic and experimental style to a more somber, poetic approach summoned by a want for money!

Yes, Fungus Amongus and S.C.I.E.N.C.E were great albums for that style, but you can't ignore the ingenuity and cleverness that is Morning View and A Crow Left Of The murder. Their musical style is still very apparent. They've grown out of their childish endeavors, and turned into sharpened, musical adults.

Incubus' music was sooo much better back in their early years. Saw them 3 times, first time right after SCIENCE, 2nd time after MAKE YOURSELF, last time was after MORNING VIEW. And there live show started to get too soft. no moshing, no old funky tunes. A gay version of redifine....when redifne is AMAZING LIVE the original version.

ANyways..doubt I will see them live again. Unless they cut another funky/rock album!!
