Great promo Disney!

Using Kamen's score was Genius! But lets be honest, many of the titles being featured here are NO Classics. Many are absolute crap Remakes that nobody asked for! Others are just poorly scripted films. Many of them Sequels :)

Ok, but what about Winnie The Pooh, Aladdin, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Lion King,

The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, etc. So, about your remark about NO Classics featured herein this ad, It's amazing the clips from the classics that you would find if you`d only look a little bit better and closer at the ad on this video.

Why didn't this little ad feature clips of pre-1990s live action Disney movies? I would've loved to have seen, say, "Old Yeller" or "The Absent-Minded Professor" or "The Love Bug".

Its the theme for Robbin Hood. Not the cartoon. Its disney. You can find the whole movie on youtube and this music is at the very start.

i can answer fairytaler's comment ........ the score itself was taken by disney studios and used in promotional advertisting from 1992 - present day. by my memory its been used 3 different times by disney to promo and advertise their products.  basicly its half making you think sumfin and half jus bcoz it is : if that makes sense.. ,, RHPT woz an epic movie thus epic score thus disney want epic music :)

The music is the intro movie from the movie called Robin Hood - The Prince of Thieves. I'm one of those who love the music of this ad, and I was like "WTF??!" when I watched Robin Hood first time and I heard this music.

Does someone know why the intro music of Robin Hood is in this ad?

I do believe you are right!! I just listened to some scores from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and this really does sound like the one piece in the soundtrack called "Overture" or simply "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves"

The notes are just a bit different here, but it's the same tune ;)

This is funny: When i graduated last year and my english teacher was recording the whole cerimony. When it was over, She walked up to me and my friends and asked us what are we gonna do now that we graduated, we all said "IM GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!" True story. Im still going. I dont know about them though.lol

I believe it to be from Michael Kamen's score of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Not sure what specific song though, it could be "Overture And A Prisoner Of The Crusades (From Chains To Freedom)".
