The prison system costs $74 billion. I get how that could help corporations but it is a huge drain on the government. The pig was a filthy criminal, but so is Mumia. He had no right to kill that pig in cold blood, not that I would shed any tears for him. Even pigs have loved ones, so Mumia victimized not only the cop but his parents, wife, children, friends, and other relatives. Murdering pigs will not reduce their crimes, but educating the public just might. Martin Luther King was against violence, but you support it by default by pretending to believe that Mumia and O.J. are innocent.

Thank you sooo much for all your knowledge and contribution. I put myself in the category when I say we do not fight any longer. They are in the process of getting rid of the voting rights act of 1965 and there was nothing being said. It took an 80 year old man to get up and fight...someone that marched with Dr. King. Yes we are too fat and happy. It should not be him standing up and fighting it should be us....I am so sorry :( . This has started in Sandy Springs, and Milton , GA the

@SenecaCrip It is not a contradiction to die for the higher good and to live non-violently. I suppose because I have lived under circumstances where I could have put my need to live above the higher good but didn't, I understand the philosophy of non-violence deep in my heart. Violence against the earth and violence against one another is repulsive to me. We are all a part of nature. When we follow the peaceful path, we risk our lives. This is the simple truth in the times that we live in.

What you don't like about Martin is the myth that has been created by ignorant whites, who are a majority of white people. Sit down one day and read Martin's writings.
