  • This live performance is a much quicker tempo than compared to many other versions. When EC wants to push it he can and is very energized with both his playing and vocal. One reviewer said he can do these songs in his sleep....so true. An excellent Cocaine version for the history books.

  • I can watch this man play all day and night

  • Dayum...that solo is bone chilling

  • Doyle Bramhall II. Holy shit. He's awesome.

  • thats preston on reverbbbb right? daaaaang, i miss him... RIP billy

  • this is one of the all time BEST shows i've ever whitnessed, right next to (or close 2nd) to Roger Waters. God bless these REAL musicians

  • why i can't put it on my facebook profile? :(((

  • best version on Cocain ever!

  • Don't get me wrong he isn't broke but I think this tour was nostalgic and just fun for both of them to do since they were together playing in the late 1960's with Blind Faith. Clapton has a number of charitable causes which need funding, so why not do what you know best, are exceptional at and make a tidy sum of money doing it. He also runs a non profit drug/alcohol center in Antigua called ironically Crossroads. So he supports a good deal of the financing for it on an annual basis.

  • @DrCharlie1 Clapton is quite wealthy from his concerts and music publishing of songs but Winwood is not. Winwood has been mostly a studio musician for the last 15 years and he doesn't have anywhere near the volume of hits that Clapton has written.

  • They added piano to this song a few years back and it gives it a nice twist. As always Clapton just rocks the solo. Clapton is so good that he can play these songs in his sleep and it makes it look effortless. As time goes on he is playing the old stuff for the money because that is what people want to hear. Hopefully he is working on some new material but I think this latest tour is more to set up his friend Winwood financially.

  • @sghdr1 aren;t these guys bloody rich already?

  • This proformace stands out to me alot... He was of freakin FIRE here... seems to me sometimes on these vids he always plays great but looks bored and going through the motions...not here!!! he was almost dancing and that guitars so distorted and thick...what a great solo

  • I,ll be seeing clapton on june 23rd in dallas. cant wait.

  • Mate, its fucking amazing, i saw him in Sydney on march 3 this year.

i can guarantee you you will love it! He was stunning, i have never seen a better concert

  • At 0:44-0:45 the video just goes too 5:06 (the end)

BUT STILL PLAYING! (in the backround)

    WTF is that?

  • sth wrong with ur pc/youtube

    just temporary i guess

  • Hey guys, do me a favor. Tell someone you know today about this particular version of cocaine. Because people these days don't know good music when they see it - everyone is stuck on that Jonas brothers bullshit.

This has got to be one of the 5 best guitar solos I have ever heard. There is no question.

  • Holy words Peter!!!!!

  • i show my friends videos like that everyday and converted some of them already into listeners of this so called "good music" 8-|

  • so true!! this solo and "I shot the sherrif" from this concert also!! absolutley magnifying

  • It's just that one note has about 5 different notes in it. lol

  • Clapton's feel is amazing; he just singed my eyebrows with that solo.

  • i meant this version below

  • his version is bar none the best cocaine solo clapton does...its blows my mind really...and bramhall has an amazing solo too....just a fucking masterpiece

  • bramhalls solo on this is so great. it really goes with the song.

  • You know, doyle is underrated by a lot of people, obiously the fact that eric likes to play with him shows that he is a great guitarrist, his solo on Have you ever Loved a Woman on this CGF also rocks

  • Now there's a real guitar hero.

Clapton is 50x better than Slash.

  • @BigLightStudios clapon is 50000000000000000x better than anyone and slash

  • this is one of the greatest guitar solos i've ever heard

  • @tormentor91

man he was on fire...absolutely nailed it

  • who's the piano (or i don't know how you call that) player? his solo is great.

  • It's called organ, a hammond and the player is the Greatest Hammond Player of all Time, The Late Billy Preston

  • thank you i wasn't sure if it's he, yes he's really great. R.I.P

  • the solo its waahhhhhhh is all i can say

  • Please dont spam me...the whole DVD crossroads 2004 was just great from which this came..EC did some really great guitar work. Different sounds on old songs. Still kicking myself for not being there.

  • Its not spam bro, no worrys lol.

yeah, i own the dvd set. its such an amazing collection, i want every years now! but I love this one the most!

  • oh...theres another one...but it still only hass 5 thou
