Don't do this! I TOTALLY REGRET IT! It didn't work at all and my bangs compleely disappeared! They fell off and a lot of my hair fell off. You may be surprised to hear this, they use a chemical in he Keratin product that they use for some reason (no idea) for dead people. Don't waste your money on this cause it will seriouslly ruin your hair! my bangs were so long and blending in my hair and now they are like two inches up from my eyebrows :(

I've been using the keratin hair treatment for a year now. I swear by it. My hair is healthier and it's straight. I go to the eaton center salon called L'Attitudes and they do an amazing job. I will keep going there as I have never had any problems and my hair has never looked better. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny.

My ears weren't covered but my stylist did put on a protective cloak and black rubber gloves. Might sound weird but I liked the smell of the product she used bc it smells like coco beans/chocolate. My hair even smells like chocolate after the treatment. Also, my hair feels like silk...

I found a shop who did my Brazilian Keratin for $145 and they used a 1 day treatment, but my hair wasn't much better, still kinda frizzy and curly, so I had them redo it with a 4 day treatment. But now, a lot of my hairs has broken off. that's what happened with Japanese. I don't know why this is happening.

Brazilian straightening uses formaldahyde which is cancerous! Thats why I decided not to do it. Be very careful!

i did not like the bkt, it made my hair a little straighter, and trust me, my hairs super curly. but i didnt like the shampoo and conditioner they give you, it makes your hair really oily and greasy, it was gross. and i hated that i couldnt shower for 5 days. they should really make this simpler. i will say it did shorten my hair routine.

i did the brazilian to my hair because it really curly but the lady over proccessed my hair because she relaxed it and i told her that i already relaxed it prior to going to the salon and my hair started to break at the ends. i was soooooo mad. i want to do it again when it gets really long because its much easier to maintain but the curl comes back so idk.

I did this too and I use the COPPOLA Keratin shampoo and Conditioner. Mine lasted four months. I have straight hair with a lil wave and it made it straight straight for a month, then it looked amazing for the next three months. I need to do it again.

You are so right, a titanium iron is a must! Also, some Brazilian treatments have been found to be very caustic and strong smelling. We use Coppola Keratin Complex in our salon and love it...no smell, gorgeous results...Shear Madness in Rocky Mount, NC!!!

I have been doing this for 2 years, around 5 applications during this time... So trust me., I have done my homework and have tried many products...

First of all make SURE to use a formaldehyde free keratin.

Secondly have somebody do it, its impossible and tiring to do it yourself. - application is 60% of the whole result.

Im a trainer and developer for loreal, I am also a cosmetologist, Keratin can be very dangerous and should not be done in closed areas with poor ventilation and it is not a process that you should do to your self, But you can get some one to help you but the chemicals in the keratin relaxers are very Dangerous.

Let me put it this way...I used to spend an hour an a half styling it and used both, a blow drier and a flat iron! now, after the keratin it only takes me 30 minutes and I don't even need the flat iron anymore =)

lol i have always had alot of body(i have poofy hair) but no it didnt weight it down.y I have very soft thick hair. Not stick straight. It is after they iron the treatment in but once you wash it itll change. I have curls still when i get out of the shower but i comb and blowdry straight so. I didnt have to wait 4 days she said i could wash it the next day which i thought was weird but i didnt anyway just to be safe. I can say i would go with the copolla treatment i liked my results better

just got home from getting treatment done. Usually went with copolla which is great but just did the bkt instead. My hair is curly(very) your results will be awesome i retired the flat iron and just blowdry instead. Silky soft like a pantene commercial. (and my hair is extremely damaged from color).
