I am part of today's generation but I love "old" music like The Rolling Stones and Iron Maiden. The 90s and earlier all had authentic music filled with soul and passion. What happened to all that? I'm glad some of these bands are still around, but it sucks that they -- and any modern band with actual talent -- has to be submerged in corporate sponsored shit.

The teacher asked if we wanted music, we all said yes. So, she turned on Alvin and the Chipmunks, then Hannah Montana! My friends and I booed, and were yelling at the top of our lungs for Queen and The Beatles! But, the chipmunks just kept playing. But hey, it's just living in my generation.
I really do not like this group of girls in my school. They say the Beatles are terrible and stuff like "They did drugs" or "Half of them are dead" and I hate it. The Beatles are one of the best bands in the world. They are by far my favorite band. Lennon was amazing. I would love to join.

I am part of today's generation but I love "old" music like The Rolling Stones and Iron Maiden. The 90s and earlier all had authentic music filled with soul and passion. What happened to all that? I'm glad some of these bands are still around, but it sucks that they -- and any modern band with actual talent -- has to be submerged in corporate sponsored shit.
Modern music is artificial.
Real music is authentic.
My fellow teens can keep Soulja Fag and the JonASSes. I'll stick with real music.

Hey, I feel your pain, man. I really do. I don't think I can take much more of this supercial, teeny bopper crap that Disney has put upon us. It's crazy. I'm 19 years old and I think that The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Queen, U2, Metallica, and other legendary bands are AWESOME! They are way more talented than the Jonas Bros and the especially annoying Hannah Montana combined. Disney just isn't full of quality like it use to be. Young folks need to give the old bands a chance.

The teacher asked if we wanted music, we all said yes. So, she turned on Alvin and the Chipmunks, then Hannah Montana! My friends and I booed, and were yelling at the top of our lungs for Queen and The Beatles! But, the chipmunks just kept playing. But hey, it's just living in my generation.

No matter what type of music it is, some will like it, some will hate it.
Just because you hate the Jonas Brothers doesn't mean millions of people don't like them.
Just because you like Jimi Hendrix doesn't mean millions of people don't hate him.
I, for one, never liked rock music until the arrival of Nirvana, Switchfoot, Staind, Interpol, The Strokes, Sugar Ray, Disturbed, Foo Fighters, etc. To me, this newer rock music beats classic rock, but it's just my opinion.

It's called having an expanded musical taste, everything is in the past just some farther back than others and classic rock is called CLASSIC for a reason. You know back when musicians developed talent and didn't depend on a computer for pitch correction and drum loops.
