i don't know if this is intierly true, but your crab will probly die soon it need a filter because a crab need moving water to live and they need water about 4 inches deep because they shed there shells and they grow legs back but they need water for that or else it will be hard, and you should have a bigger shelter its like a home they like to stay in it like people, and you might wanna have about 3 inchs high of sand crabs like to dig. k thats about all i know and i have 3 this might be wrong

your crab is fine. unless ur legally retarded, any one should know u gotta change the water now and then. we had a similar set up for a couple years with our pat. crab. they i went to basic and somehow he died under my moms care. i loved that bastard too. i was able to scoop him up w/ both my hand and handle him a bit. he was shy as hell like this one too and would probly pinch u if you grabbed him wrong.
