@nitroboy1212 The Yaris is the same as the Vitz in Japan, theAuris is built on the Corolla platform, so the closest we have in the US is the Matrix.

I think the styling on the Auris and Blade are much sharper then the Matrix.

This is such a nice car. I hate todays people who are badge snobs and are just biased towards brand names. Think about it, A Lexus is so much better than a BMW or Mercedes but people buy those because of the brand. Most european people are biased. The americans think of Toyota and Lexus as the best cars in the world.

it is european and it began producing in the mid 2007

The Auris is not sold in the U.S., but we have a similar vehicle by Toyota called the Matrix.

i drove the top of the range auris, i was a bit disappointed with the ride and handling bcoz it kinda feel the same as the previous corolla. the other fact is that the gear box is just too high and it aint good for your blood circulation on your left arm, however they comfortable. I am satisfy wiv the auris looks, it dont have 2b funky and gimicky lookin like the new civic. im happy with its quality and reliability.

Agree, I got mine today and love it! Didn't like it at 1st, but it grows on you. Mine's an SR180 and looks a lot better than standard models on big wheels and lowered suspension etc... Anyone who isn't sure about the outside, see the interior, it's very cool!

Double agreed. I must admit, when I got mine (which I should add, is just the base model, known as the Corolla Ascent in these parts), I thought the exterior, particularly the rear wasn't especially nice looking. However, the inside, even on mine, is super sweet. The flying buttress design for the gear box is a real winner.
