forget eucalyptus... try a knarly bit of elm, or holme oak.... its enough to make me cry somtimes......

good skills though chopper man! but its kind of a high risk strategy having your hand ontop of the log you're hitting. I split with a similar technique but allways try to keep my hand to the side, so even if you hit it its knocked to the side and cut up a bit rather than pure amputated......
