You clearly are blinded to to your own rituals. I would also suspect you never read his book "The Scalpel and the Soul" or have experience with any of the incredible things he has observed as a neurosurgoen. I have have been tested repeatedly while an Air Force Fighter Pilot during physicals for any signs of emotional issues and can assure you there is far more to life than you could ever imagine that shred credibility.

Allan J. Hamilton may be a very gifted neurosurgeon but I find his superstitions worrisome. I would go out of my way not to have him as a doctor.

I'm not superstitious either but Dr Hamilton's record speak for itself - a Harvard educated pioneering neurosurgical professor.
